Iranian police, termed “Iran’s Gestapo” by a Christian news site, has arrested between 100 and 400 Christians and thrown them into prisons.
Firouz Khandjani, a council member of the 'Church of Iran' house church movement, told the Christian BosNewsLife website, "We have learned that at least 100, but perhaps as many as 400 people, have been detained over the last 10 days.”
He said massive arrests of men and women included the break-up of church services held by evangelical Christians in three cities, including Tehran. "We know that many have been forced to say they will no longer attend church services in exchange for freedom,” he said. "They are of several movements. But it has become clear that Protestant Christians are now viewed as enemy number one of the state," according to Khandjani. "We need urgent prayers.” …

I read stuff like this and just cannot even begin to imagine being ‘rounded up.’ At this day and age that a culture still exists so intolerant to the word of God is amazing.
Prayers for the strength of faith for these Christians.
Well, if it’s happening, don’t be amazed; think of what it would be a sign of.
Whether you wish to accept it or not, you are living in a nation that is headed in precisely this direction.
If you disagree with the Left on homosexuality, abortion, or a host of other issues, and your church undoubtedly does, you’ll all in danger.
The U. N. has you in their sights. The Left in the U. S. does. And new anti-bullying moves on our school campuses, have your kids in their sights. Your first amendment right to voice opposition to the destruction of our values, is on the chopping block right now.
If Obama gets re-elected, I honestly don’t know what will take place, but this is certainly not the least of it.
As my priest said to me recently...it’s going to get worse.
And yes, I am still amazed by it. I guess it is the utter willful disregard for life. I just cannot grasp how people come to be so blind.

Well, a lot of Christians knew where this all led. I just can’t believe how fast it is coming down upon us.

Good luck on seeing these persecutions making headlines in lur news media. Maybe Fox News and talk radio will cover it. The poor, persecuted Coptic Christians in Egypt are getting no coverage in their time of oppression.
Secularists do not care if Christians of any stripe are under duress and threats of death.

Yes talk radio likely will do so but there has *got to be* some legal way of getting the MSM to cover such news stories.
The US government put a target on the backs of Christians when they falsely and loudly (globally - from the UN, even!) blamed a Christian (Copt) for making an anti-Mohammad video and announced that they abandoned American freedom for a morally superior Shaira.
Liberals would round up and kill politically incorrect American Christians if they had the centralized police state machinery (they do) and could get away with it (not for now).
In fact all moslem countries -- from Libya to Malaysia outlaw spreading Christ
