Many Blacks Secretly Favor Romney
Slackers for Obama ^ | 10/15/2012 | Brian Ross

Washington, D.C. (API) - Contrary to polls showing almost unanimous support for the reelection of Barack Obama among African-Americans, the truth is far more complicated. Many blacks have admitted to Slackers for Obama Founder Brian Ross (not to be confused with the ABC newsman of the same name) that once they are in the privacy of the voting booth, they will pull the lever for Obama’s challenger, former Massachusetts Governor Mitt Romney.

“African-Americans are under an incredible amount of peer pressure and the last thing they want to admit is that Obama has been a failed president,” said Mr. Ross, “So our hope is that a panoply of new entitlements aimed at white Armenian voters with overbites and including free houses, free cars and free accordions will also bring any black voters having second thoughts back into the fold.”

Indeed, Slackers for Obama has been meeting with the President several times a day to come up with new entitlements designed to encourage all citizens to vote for their man. Some of the other entitlement ideas bandied about have included Gummy Bears, Snuggies and ShamWows, the spill picker-upper.

Meanwhile, a new poll showing support for the President would fall by at least five points if he was white troubles Mr. Ross. "If people voted for president based upon character, policy and record we could be in serious trouble," he added, "Let's pray that never happens."

After the thrashing black actress Stacey Dash took on Twitter after expressing her support for Romney, African-Americans have been particularly reticent to go public with sentiments which might stray from the groupthink conventional wisdom might appear to dictate.

“The threat of ostracism from friends and family is an incredibly strong tool to encourage people to vote against their own personal interests,” said undecided black voter Norma Leigh Lucid, “So, do I vote for Barack who has overseen median household incomes fall by $4,300 a year during his term or do I vote for someone who has actual experience in turning things around and, in so doing, alienate my black brothers and sisters?”

After several moments of hemming and hawing, Ms. Lucid said self-interest would dictate her vote and that she’d “be damned” if she ever admitted it to anyone else. “Maybe if the Democrats stopped taking our votes for granted they’d actually start doing something for us,” she added.

Now THOSE are the folks I wish would come out of the closet. Some of the others who have come out should go back.

Any percentage he loses, is another percentage Romney gets.

Look at the massive support we saw last time. There are no bumper stickers to be found.

If you lose by 15% one time, you only have to get 7.5% +1 of it back.

I have predicted Romney wins by 55 to 45. We’ll see. I thought McCain would pull it out too, but the fool was dead seat to prove me wrong. ;^)

One fairly well known black who will vote for Mitt Romney is ESPN anchor Sage Steele. She is quite conservative. I believe her dad was the first black football player at West Point.

The sooner Black Americans broom this half-Black loser out of office, the better their chances of having a strong Black leader being elected in the future. At the rate Obama is going, if he is re-elected, no Black will ever stand a chance of winning.

This is partly why I predict a substantial win for Romney. Most people just hate being wrong. They realize they bought the whole line of crap. They’re embarrassed and certainly don’t like looking bad to their friends, family, and coworkers. They’ll pull those drapes and quietly give the other guy a chance and certainly not be wrong, twice. The rest are lost, anyway...

I don’t think it will be quite 55-45, but not far off that. I think maybe 8 points, with probably a full percentage of “other” - so maybe 53 and change to 45 and change....

And quite a looker too! But she won't come right out and openly say she's voting for Romney out of fear of angry blowback from her peer group.

You know. ESPN Anchors.

Never forget, boys and girls, that liberals are all about diversity in all forms ..... except of opinion.

Once you go into that voting booth, nobody will ever know for whom you voted.

You can say “OBAMA” but vote “ROMNEY” and no one will be the wiser.......except the voter.................

Barring some horrible RomneyRyan blunder I think the election may be just about over. Look at the internals of some of these polls. The lib media is turning out polls showing a tie, or a small Romney lead…with +5 +8 +6 Democrat samples. The really devastating info is in the internals – Romney winning independents in every single one of them and usually by double digits, as much as 18 and 19 pts. And the real secret killer is this one – Black vote
There have been a lot of interesting poll internals that show Obama only getting 85-86% of the black vote. At first glance 85% sounds good but when you are talking about the Democrat black vote that is a devastating number. Obama in 2008 had 96% (of a record high turnout). For Democrats to win states like OH, FL, PA, MI, NC they count on 92+ % of the black vote and high turnout in the urban centers of those states. Anything less than 90% and they simply can’t overcome the non urban electorates preference for the GOP. Not only are Obama’s numbers with black voters too low, but the black turnout is not going to be anywhere near 2008 levels. A landslide is coming. :) :)

“So, do I vote for Barack who has overseen median household incomes fall by $4,300 a year during his term or do I vote for someone who has actual experience in turning things around and, in so doing, alienate my black brothers and sisters?”

Norma, you do what your brain tells you to do.

Even if you are a taker, which I suspect you aren't based on the intelligence of your statement, you'd realize that even takers are better off with more people pulling the wagon than riding the wagon.

You don't ask your black brothers and sisters for permission to be successful, do you? There are probably more than a few who resent you for being successful.

Any who feel compelled to vote for BO over a shared race (which isn't really shared, but that's another story), I'd simply shake my head and walk away from them saying "I'm sorry that you don't have any other choice. But I do."

I also suspect Neil Everett is a conservative - simply because he’s logical and intelligent.

THAT NEEDS TO BE THE GOP TALKING POINT!!!!!!!

I continue to pray that wonderful conservatives like US Congressional candidate Mia Love of Utah and US Representative Allen West will eventually become heroes and role models for younger black Americans.

Mia Love is going to win and she will own a place on the national stage!

Another well-known black man who is changing his support from Obama is Charles Payne, Fox Business Network co-host with Stuart Varney.

About a year or two ago I saw an interview he made whereby he admitted he had voted for Obama in 2008. He said he did not really like McCain as a candidate and the emotional pull of Obama as the first black man to be the POTUS drew him into Obama’s orbit. He said he (Charles) had been sorry since about 6 months into the Obama administration.

When I hear him talking about the economy, it is clear he is not a fan of Obama’s anymore.

I love Charles Payne! Every time I hear him, he is basically calling Obama an idiot. I hope Romney finds a place for him in his administration. Very smart man.
