Sen. Lindsey Graham (R., S.C.), a longtime point man for the GOP on national security issues, said he believes the administration knew within 24 hours of the assault that it was a coordinated militia attack and was not tied to other anti-U.S. protests across the Middle East. According to Graham, the administration suggested otherwise so voters wouldn't think al-Qaeda remained a threat.
"They're trying to sell a narrative, quite frankly, that [the] wars are receding and that al-Qaeda has been dismantled," said Graham, a member of the Senate Armed Service Committee's emerging threats and capabilities subcommittee, in an interview on CBS's Face the Nation. "And to admit that our embassy was attacked by al-Qaeda operatives ... I think undercuts that narrative."
It was an exceptionally pointed allegation on what has become a major campaign issue. The attack on a U.S. Consulate in Benghazi, which killed four Americans including Ambassador J. Christopher Stevens, has raised questions about whether the State Department denied its embassy staff adequate security to save money and why the White House was slow to label the assault a terrorist attack.
Democrats shrugged off the allegations. "This conspiracy stuff is kind of ridiculous to be honest with you, and I've been kind of surprised that they've gone to these lengths. But you know that's what they do," said Rep. Elijah Cummings of Maryland, the top Democrat on the House Oversight and Government Reform Committee, which is investigating the incident.

Washington, D.C. – U.S. Senators John McCain (R-AZ), Lindsey Graham (R-SC) and Kelly Ayotte (R-NH) today released the following statement on Secretary of State Hillary Clinton’s comments this evening regarding the terrorist attack on the U.S. Consulate in Benghazi on September 11, 2012:
“We have just learned that Secretary of State Hillary Clinton has claimed full responsibility for any failure to secure our people and our Consulate in Benghazi prior to the attack of September 11, 2012. This is a laudable gesture, especially when the White House is trying to avoid any responsibility whatsoever.
“However, we must remember that the events of September 11 were preceded by an escalating pattern of attacks this year in Benghazi, including a bomb that was thrown into our Consulate in April, another explosive device that was detonated outside of our Consulate in June, and an assassination attempt on the British Ambassador. If the President was truly not aware of this rising threat level in Benghazi, then we have lost confidence in his national security team, whose responsibility it is to keep the President informed. But if the President was aware of these earlier attacks in Benghazi prior to the events of September 11, 2012, then he bears full responsibility for any security failures that occurred. The security of Americans serving our nation everywhere in the world is ultimately the job of the Commander-in-Chief. The buck stops there.
“Furthermore, there is the separate issue of the insistence by members of the Administration, including the President himself, that the attack in Benghazi was the result of a spontaneous demonstration triggered by a hateful video, long after it had become clear that the real cause was a terrorist attack. The President also bears responsibility for this portrayal of the attack, and we continue to believe that the American people deserve to know why the Administration acted as it did.”

Who's bright idea was it that on a calm night in Benghazi that a protest was in full swing outside the consulate regarding a lame YouTube video?
Was the YouTube story concocted before or after the real-time reports were coming in about the organized terrorist attacks using RPGs, AK-47s, direct and indirect automatic weapons fire?
Who's bright idea was it to hire UNARMED local security "forces" in a hostile region of the Middle East to protect a US ambassador? (Valerie Jarret, an aide to Obama, has better armed personal protective services than Amb Stevens.)
Who is the genius who thought they could pass off a story to the American people of a group of impulsive Islamist movie critics showing up at a US consulate, spontaneously showing up with RPGs, AK-47s, and an organized plan for direct and indirect fire, plus setting incendiary devices?

Were any of the previous assaults in Libya reported by America’s finest, “I heart the Hamptons” journalistic crew? Everyone of them has closed their eyes to the Obama administrations mistakes, lies, and deadly foreign policy, their malpractice has created a government that answers to no one, that has unchecked power, and allows one man to manipulate a nation of idiots. This blood is on their hands.
It was probably LIVE on LIBYAN TV. We were only allowed to see a 'frame' from a video, at first.
Later, the populace has been allowed to see 'secondary' video, which they have had time to edit.
The reason this incident is so murky, is because it is very complicated, and consists of many factors. It also consisted of two attacks. One was on the Embassy, by amateurs recently equipped with decent semi-auto rifles and flashy new SUV's. The other was by a semi-pro group, tasked with destroying evidence in the safehouse.
The amateurs, led by two of his former employees, found his body after the HIT TEAM pulled out of the consulate/safehouse/second facility....) attack.
It was likely , then, that he was ceremoniously raped (a knife up the kazoo) by his two former Libyan National 'employees', as part of revenge against the US for trying to FORCE HOMOSEXUALITY down their throats (that didn't come out right).
The SOS had instilled new rules that partners of employees from the Libyan populace could be bired (nepotism of the highest order), and they were given PREFERENCE (and a BONUS) if they were SAME SEX PARTNERS.
SO.... Stevens was killed in an attempt to kill the (spies/cia/seals) that were investigating the ballistic armament problem and hide the evidence. After he was killed, his body was found in the carange by the local citizenry( rebels)who were being told by the Muslim Brotherhood that the new 'policies' at the Embassy would not be tolerated.
After the Embassy/Consulate Pillage and Rape was over, the Libyan police collected many of the 'arms' that had been 'loaned out' to the Libyan Occupy Embassy Protesters, in a neighborhood BUY BACK program.
The HIT TEAM has faded into the woods, and will be spreading out into the most recent popular 'organizations' (re-branding of same group, same theme, same results)
Hillary is stuck. She's walking the tightrope with this one.
Barry's not 'in the loop' to begin with, he's just the stuffed shirt that has to explain, and he's not very devoted to even that.
Valerie Jarrett is the one who sat and watched and waited. Then she put Barry out on stage to bark. It doesn't matter anymore what he says.
The 'rockets' (exact composition unknown) are still in the hands of the enemy. The question is, whose enemy are they?
We supported Gaddafi and his military for a long time. Then we turned on him (and it was about the GOLD), and supported his citizens. Now we call them the rebels because they attacked the Embassy. With weapons we are probably supplying.
Once Gaddafi was removed from power, you know the the 'so called' rebels did FIRST?
Did they form a new 'government'? Name a new Leader?
No. They created a NEW BANK for all the GOLD.
SO... bottom line... this thing is about SEX, MONEY, and POWER.
