Washington, D.C. – U.S. Senators John McCain (R-AZ), Lindsey Graham (R-SC) and Kelly Ayotte (R-NH) today released the following statement on Secretary of State Hillary Clinton’s comments this evening regarding the terrorist attack on the U.S. Consulate in Benghazi on September 11, 2012:
“We have just learned that Secretary of State Hillary Clinton has claimed full responsibility for any failure to secure our people and our Consulate in Benghazi prior to the attack of September 11, 2012. This is a laudable gesture, especially when the White House is trying to avoid any responsibility whatsoever.
“However, we must remember that the events of September 11 were preceded by an escalating pattern of attacks this year in Benghazi, including a bomb that was thrown into our Consulate in April, another explosive device that was detonated outside of our Consulate in June, and an assassination attempt on the British Ambassador. If the President was truly not aware of this rising threat level in Benghazi, then we have lost confidence in his national security team, whose responsibility it is to keep the President informed. But if the President was aware of these earlier attacks in Benghazi prior to the events of September 11, 2012, then he bears full responsibility for any security failures that occurred. The security of Americans serving our nation everywhere in the world is ultimately the job of the Commander-in-Chief. The buck stops there.

This sordid and venal scandal does have a certain “curiouser and curiouser” Wonderland quality to it.
I’m thinking they were all trying to stall until November 7th, and it blew up in their faces due to the “We own the media” Democrat arrogance.
Maybe now, failing in that, they’re hoping to ventilate this outhouse just enough to secure pardons before Zero is shown the door in January.

I don’t think she saved his ass at all. She drew a sharp line between being responsible for ‘security’ (of state dept personnel) and the coverup (video, Rice, Obama on Letterman & at the UN, etc,). Bill had a bunch of his lawyers working on this situation and I think they told Hillary to go ahead and take reponsibility for what she can be held legally accountable. By using the language “the buck stops” with her, she is usurping a phrase used by/for presidents and you see the reaction with this letter ..... she’s made it look like Obama is hiding behind her skirts. This is one “Slick” move .... Bill strikes again (IMHO).

Hillary falls on Obama’s sword because Obama’s enablers, who happen to be Hillary’s enablers also, have told her to do so. This whole cabal of Chicago connected to internationalists who want the USA to go down the tubes needs to be thoroughly vetted/outed, especially Axelrod and his heritage connections to Bolshevik Russians.Perhaps Khrushchev knew more than what he was telling in his ‘bury’ comment.

The punch line is right in front of you. Hillary claims responsibility for security while leaving the rest of the entire mess out on the table - so it then flows towards Obama.
She figures if she cops to part of it, then the presumption is that she copped to everything that applied to her - that people (or the media) can't then say, "wait a minute, you were responsible for a hell of a lot more than just security, and anyway, what are the details of that security failure - what were you thinking and planning in failing to even respond to repeated requests of more security by an ambassador in a war zone"?
See? That can't be asked now. No questions. She makes them all seem moot - she "took responsibility," so nothing more can be said. Issue ends there. That way she dodges questions, and lets the rest (all) of it slide onto Obama.
Of course, it's the cheapest of tricks that only works on the stupidest of people. But who do you think liberals are?
You seriously believe that ANYTHING Hillary and Bill Clinton do is not entirely and minutely coordinated? Have you studied their history? That possibility is NOT in their character and history.
Why do you imagine Bill met with his attorney minions last week? You just have to bet he consulted with them AND every loyal Clinton c&&ks&&ker to help in getting them out of trouble once again.
They’ll stall now until the election, believing that this statement will be gulped and gargled by the Clintonian media (it will) and then they will “let it pass” (it probably will).
How I hate the Clintons... and they own Obama’s soul, and probably pledged it as collateral for their own to further encumber what they sold years ago and be allowed to wreak more havoc on earth... I’m reminded of the classic Stones song each time I read about the latest Clinton antics: “Please allow me to introduce myself...”
They are evil on earth, and the Obama administration mortgaged themselves to them in order to succeed within the liberal democrat juggernaut. Obama continues that strategy taking the bait from the Clintons with this latest announcement.
Let’s hope that change will come in this election and the Clintons (and by simple extension Obama) will once again be beaten back... for now anyway.

All politics is loco. Place the ivy league trained nincompoops in charge and they think letting semiautomatic rifles walk to Mexico will get the American public to see how horrible guns are and ban the second amendment.
Allow that Americans free speech led to a Mohamed bashing movie, and spend a few weeks drumming this up as a cause of the Muslim anger resulting in the killing of Ambassador Stevens and the three others in Benghazi and take away freedom of speech in America.
Easy as taking Candy from a presidential debate.
Her statement is proof positive that she doesn’t understand how power and politics works in the Middle East
