*SCHADENFREUDE ALERT!* Daily/Kos SEIU poll gives Romney best numbers of the week (R-50, O-46)

This was a PPP poll for Kos/SEIU conducted 10/12-14 of likely voters (previous results in parenthesis):

The candidates for President are Democrat Barack Obama and Republican Mitt Romney. If the election was today, who would you vote for?

Obama 46 (47)
Romney 50 (49)

At a time when other polls are moving back in the president's direction, our own weekly poll by Public Policy Polling saw the opposite—a two-point Romney gain. Per day:

Friday (38%) Obama 47, Romney 49
Saturday (39%) Obama 49, Romney 47
Sunday (24%) Obama 43, Romney 55

Do you guys ever get tired of living the lives of perpetual losers?

No matter what people do, some people on FR just live in fear of the big bad press like they are all powerful.

In response to your photo (and because I like Bozo the Clown), I found one rare photo of Reagan with the real Obama. I believe it's an ad for the NRA!

I don’t think what Obama does matters anymore. Voters are watching Romney, giving him the benefit of the doubt, and hoping he can close the deal.

I agree. People disenchanted with Obama are looking at Romney and asking themselves "How comfortable would I be with this guy being President". Romney just needs to maintain a presidential attitude on stage.

If Obama has a public psychotic episode on national TV, then that's just a bonus.

Gallup has R up fairly big in some swing states, and now this poll.. Honestly? I have a hard time believing it.

They are setting up the scenerio, where tonight's debate will be declared in O's favor, and the polls will show a huge landslide towards Obama.. just watch..

At a time when other polls are moving back in the president's direction

I guess they're referencing that WaPo/ABC (D) "Poll" that shows Obama leading by three with a D+9 sample.

but they do say 44 pct of respondents were conservative vs 16 pct liberal. *********************************************************** This is not the same as the D/R breakdown. It appears this poll is accurate within the MOE.

The following is from Gallup:

The Gallup survey found that 40 percent of Americans consider themselves conservative; 35 percent consider themselves moderate; and 21 percent see themselves as liberal. The figures did not change from 2010.

What’s really scary is that the polls are still fairly close. You would think after 4 years of socialism, it would be 70/30 in favor of Romney. Alas, that’s the old America, we may have already passed the point of no return.

Don’t know about this poll getting out the rat vote since it could as easily discourage them. Democrats and liberals exist on pure emotion, that’s why their leaders are so bent on whipping them into a frenzy on each and every issue. I would think they would want their troops excited and hopeful rather than depressed and fearful as these numbers could make them

Even in “old America” did anybody ever get 70% of the vote? Only a handful of incumbent Presidents have lost biding for a second term.

It will take divine intervention for him to win the second time.

Why, is the "magic negro" somehow magically, going to become smart?

Look for “women’s issues” to be the core

Oh, do you mean baby-killing?

Good news if true, but it must be discounted because of the source: PPP polls are worthless junk. PPP has been proven to do push polling to advocate for Democrats, and PPP has a terrible record for accuracy.

Simply put - ignore PPP polls.

I hear you...I too did that last night and first thing this morning when I got up. I’ve been awaking in the middle of the night to pray for Romney. It’s like if the Lord is telling us tonight will be a battle between Good and evil! The demon hordes will be there in full force. Father in Jesus name we ask for guidance, the wisdom of Solomon and you Favor upon Romney tonight. Let the blinders fall off the American people and see the evilness of Obama. Let Obama stumble on his words of lies and may they stick to the roof of his mouth. Shut the mouth of the roaring lying evil man-lion...by the Blood of the Lamb we pray! Remember to fast a meal and pray..God honors the small humble sacrifices of his people!

On "Morning Joe" this morning they were discussing a new poll (maybe the Washington Post poll from yesterday) that had Obama at 51% approval rating...they were convinced that things were starting to shift in Obama's favor. I think that was the poll that had 9% more Democrats than Republicans.
