I have several things running through my head at the moment. Lets discuss them one at a time.
The format: I dislike Townhall debates. For one thing, discussions tend to be very shallow even more shallow than usual. Getting beyond canned talking points from the candidates will take a minor miracle. For another, what serious questions can you expect from someone who is undecided at this point? As I stated in a previous post:
Undecided Citizens!!! Just what sort of deep, piercing hot-button question could you honestly expect from someone who has paid so little attention to the race so far as to remain undecided at this stage of the game? I want to see hard questions asked of the candidates that make them sweat. The chances of that happening with true undecided voters has to be slim to none.
Another problem with the format is...

Here’s the deal:
1. The questions will all be from the Democrat perspective. Heavily loaded with assumptions of statist superiority.
2. If Obama can get out a full coherent sentence and look up occasionally, he will be billed the clear winner by 95% of the media. Those stories are already written.
3. It ultimately won’t matter for the election outcome.
The thing they won’t get around is that Obama still has to face his daddy, Mitt Romney. Romney is unphased by all of the worries we have. He does not get off message, he does not panic, he does not lose his cool. The guy is legit, and Obama is scared to go back in there, believe it.
I have a fairly safe prediction. No matter what happens at the debate tonight, the MSM will immediately hail Obama’s tremendous comeback performance and attempt to demonize Romney for being untruthful, vague and/or rude.
After the last debate, the MSM and the rest of the left wing could not stifle their shock, horror and deep disappointment at Obama. It was like a gag reflex. They simply could not hold back their overpowering urge to vomit.
Now they have had time to reflect and have become even more shocked and horrified to see Romney shoot ahead of Obama in all of the polls. The MSM has way too much emotionally and financially invested in Obama to simply cut him loose now. They will do whatever it takes from now until the election to prop Obama back up.
If they do manage to prop Obama up long enough to get him re-elected, then they will start tearing into him like a pack of wild dogs. The honeymoon is definitely over.
After reading three paragraphs I didn’t expect the fourth to negate their premise LOL!
The quality of the undecided voter’s question is irrelevent:
Crowley picks 10% of the offered questions and more or less a follow up.
It’s all her, the undecided voters are dressage.
What’s up with “Sensata”? Is that something Romney had something to do with?
Anybody with Twitter Hashtag #sensata needs to be seriously FREEPED!
What this story about some employer coming out against Romney about? The leftists are acting as though they have the October Surprise to bring down Romney.
Google it, it’s beyond silly.
I will be on a plane during the debate.
I hope people will post the following details:
Fox’s Luntz panel info, CNN’s undecided panel info, flash polls after.
I just hope Romney is prepared and Obama is a jerk, though I really doubt he is going to be Biden 2 but somewhere in the middle, which could help him and hurt us. That said, I think Romney will be ready.

I have a fairly safe prediction of my own. F.R. will be “down” during the debate.
