Daily Kos/SEIU Poll: Romney Beats Obama 50-46
breitbart.com/ ^ | 10/16/12 | John Nolte

Posted on 10/16/2012 8:11:15 AM PDT by Justaham

The left-leaning Public Policy Polling does regular weekly polling for the extreme left-leaning Daily Kos and SEIU, and the numbers this morning have probably stopped the hearts of leftists everywhere. Nationally, the poll shows Romney up four, 50-46%. In the swing states, the news is just as bad with Romney up three, 50-47%.

In this particular poll, the movement towards Romney nationally is a net gain of two points. In the swing states, Romney overcame a four-point deficit. Two weeks ago he was losing to Obama, 50-46%. That's a seven-point shift.

Daily Kos released the daily numbers in this three-day rolling poll. Friday and Saturday averaged out to a tie, but on Sunday, Romney walloped Obama by twelve points -- 55-43%. Obviously, that's a fluke, but the question is, how much of one? Was there a real momentum shift of some kind? Daily Kos claims that nothing in the news can account for this, but that's debatable.

And look at the big impact this poll has had on the RCP averages.

Wait, what?

Most of the undecided voters will not watch the debates. Any opinions they form will be based on whatever the TV talking heads tell them about the debates over the following several days. The MSM knows this.

The MSM will do whatever it takes to spin the debate as a great victory for Our Glorious Leader Obama. You can count on it.

Here’s the cold hard reality.. Obama cannot on his best day get over low 42-43% of the popular vote.. PERIOD.

I don’t care who’s poll it is or what breakdown they use.. On election day Obama will not get over 42-43% at BEST.. and it is not beyond the realm of possibility that he not even get 40% and lose his re-election bid by a larger margin than Herbert Hoover in 1932.

This guy was an empty suit nothing 4 years ago, now he’s an empty suit nothing with a record of complete failure.

This guy NEVER had any shot at re-election.

Obviously fight like its neck and neck, but we are on the cusp of the greatest electoral landslide in 80 years if not longer. Yes the EC won’t reflect how bad the shelacking is because population distributions are different today than they were in say 1984, but don’t kid yourselves, this is not even going to be close.

FIGHT LIKE its a 50-50 election, but don’t get disheartened, this was never a race.

And they will fail as badly as they did with Obama #1 or Biden. Wow, do you think the media is powerful. In 1970, yep. 2012? nope.

On Sunday “Romney walloped Obama by twelve points — 55-43%.” I submit to you that the final result will be somewhat close to this, maybe 52-48. I think Daily Kos stumbled into a REAL poll number.

Don’t underestimate the MSM. Without the media working tirelessly for the last 4 years to prop Obama up he would be polling in the low 20s rather than the high 40s.

The MSM couldn’t restrain themselves from slamming Obama after the first debate because of their shock and disappointment at the incredible failure of the Anointed One. They are over that now.

They have had a week to watch Obama drop over a cliff in the polls. They will hold their barf for the rest of the campaign and sing praises to Our Glorious Leader. If they manage to pull out a win for Obama, after the election is over they are going to start treating him like they usually treat Republicans. It won’t be pretty.

That’s exactly what I think. Libs really do believe BO is going to slice and dice Romney up bringing up lies about him that were featured in all their voter commercials. BO spent a fortune on those lying commercials and he is going to use the lies in them again in his talking points tonight. I just hope Romney has the audience seeded with some of his people too.

Don’t know much about KOS, but I think that a lot of SEIU people resent being bullied by their leaders. They may say one thing when communicating with union thugs, and another when talking to a pollster.

As one who has written about the media and studied it for 20 years, I hardly underestimate the media. Neither do I hold the drive-bys in conspiratorial awe as some do here.

Don’t underestimate the MSM.

This election will be an interesting insight into the residual power which the lamestream media wields.

Due to the LSM's transparent attempt to prop up a failed and dangerous marxist President, fewer and fewer voting Americans are giving them any credibility at all.

The LSM is doing everything in its power. Without them, 0bama would not have a snowball's chance in Hell.

Hopefully, the repudiation will be so complete that the LSM will once again start trying to practice actual journalism.

I believe the libs “want” bambi to slice & dice Romney, but they know he can't do - at least not without help.

Must be sad to live like a loser.

I join other FReepers in saying NO! IMHO it is crawl over the broken glass time! We have to not only win the honest count, but the theft margin as well. Every vote counts!

They placed Romney up in the polls so they can take him down after the town hall tonight.....How’d that work out?

You make that sound like I wanted Romney taken down - My post was just an explanation for the DailyKos poll. The only way libs can “win” anything is by cheating.

Should I spell it out for you?
