Ross Perot endorses Romney: “He has my absolute support”
Yahoo! News ^ | October 16, 2012 | Brendan James

Tuesday morning, in an op-ed in the Des Moines Register, businessman and former presidential candidate Ross Perot declared his unequivocal support for Republican candidate Mitt Romney.

"President Obama promised a great deal. He has had his chance," Perot wrote. "The results are visible for all to see. It is time for a new beginning. It is time for Mitt Romney."

Complaining of Obama's policy writ large, Perot echoed the GOP challenger's campaign slogan, writing that America "can't afford four more years in which debt mushrooms out of control, our government grows and our military is weakened."

Going on to praise Romney's conservative principles as well as his record as governor of Massachusetts, Perot argues that the former Bain CEO would address and rectify the current president's shortcomings.

"He has spent most of his career in the private sector. He understands how jobs are created. He understands how government can get in the way of that process," Perot writes. "As a president, he would do what this administration has been unable to do, which is reform our federal government, pare it back, and—most critically—keep it from acting as a brake on economic growth."

The endorsement may come as a surprise to some. In recent weeks, Perot went on record as disapproving of both candidates negligence of an impending "fiscal cliff" and the country's massive debt. In an interview with USA Today he said, "Nobody that's running really talks about it, about what we have to do and why we have to do it. They would prefer not to have it discussed."

This bipartisan rejection was Perot's first explicitly political statement in years...

Well good on old H. Ross. This will help substantially, I think.

The guy that helped give us Bill Clinton (twice) is now on the Romney bandwagon. Can’t say I’m surprised.

It is a tale, told by an idiot, full of sound and fury, signifying nothing.

Who cares what HRPerot says? I’m still casting as many votes as possible to re-elect BHusseinO. It is Madonna’s endorsement that counts! (Since she’s promised to strip naked for us if we can give BHO another 4 years to destroy America).
What has Perot promised to do for us?

((don’t answer that! I don’t wanna know.. ha!)

See Madonna Strip Naked! Vote Early and Vote Often to Re=elect Obama!

AND IF ROMNEY DOESN”T USE THAT IN HIS CAMPAIGN, he’s missing out on a Great Opportunity!!!!!

Andrew Wilcow was discussing on his radio program yesterday how the Libertarian Paulites and Gary Johnson dicsiples, though well intentioned may very well cause Romney to lose to Obama, when they refuse to vote for Romney next month, just as Ross Perot ensured that Bill Clinton would take the White House.

Texas’ Republican Rep. Ron Paul has yet to endorse in the race for president, but is showering praise on the long shot Libertarian Party candidate, ex-New Mexico Gov. Gary Johnson.

“I think he’s wonderful, and I think he’s doing a good job and people should look at him and every individual should make up his own mind,” Paul, who sought the Republican nomination, told Fox News.

Jenna Jameson

Has Kato Kaelin weighed in yet?

Question is: Is Ross Perot’s endorsement as big as Lindsey Lohan’s.

The most significant third party presidential candidate since 1968 endorses Gov. Romney and you don’t consider it breaking news? What, then, is your definition of breaking news?

This isn't about Romney...

This might be a Schadenfreude Moment for Ross in regards what he wanted to do to GM and they kicked him off the board...

I wonder if this is still GM related....

Honey Boo Boo backs Obama

Interesting how Honey Boo Boo's reason for preferring Obama, is just as "logical" as that of most of those who will actually vote for Obama.

The only reason Perot ever does anything political is because there are some $$$$$s in it for him.

I wonder what it is this time?
