COLUMBUS, Ohio (AP) - The Supreme Court sided with Democrats on Tuesday in refusing to block a decision over disputed early voting days in the battleground state of Ohio, giving President Barack Obama's campaign a victory three weeks before the election.
The court refused a request by the state's Republican elections chief and attorney general to get involved in a battle over early voting on the three days before Election Day.
Obama's campaign and Ohio Democrats sued the state officials over changes in state law that took away the three days of voting for most people but made exceptions for military personnel and Ohioans living overseas.
Democrats in their lawsuit cited a recent study saying nearly 105,000 people voted in the three days before the election in 2008. ...

Bob Bauer, general counsel for Obama for America, praised the Supreme Court's decision.

As I said on a previous thread, this decision is tragic in that it’s an assault upon the voting rights of our military.
“Vote early and vote often” is Hillary’s suggestion and the Domocraps in Ohio hope it works. The only way to combat this is for ALL Romney / Ryan supporters to get out and vote. Cheating will be defeated.
Just makes me want to cry.
I believe Ohio is set up for massive fraud, Romney needs enough to win without Ohio.
Maybe I’m missing something, but why is this a problem? I don’t like the whol early voting business, but if the state is going to let military personnel vote during the 3 days, it’s only fair it’s open to all citizens.
Seriously? Vote Fraud anyone? obama’s minions have truck loads of filled out ballots—101% for Osama.
Bull. There is no assault on anyone's voting rights with this decision.
The original legislation was blatant political pandering giving in state military special voting rights.
The military votes that need (and have) special consideration are overseas. Unfortunately some states aren't complying with federal law with regard to those.
