It's not too far a drive for our West Virginia FReepers in the panhandle.
I have my ticket!
Any idea how many the park holds?
Got my tickets yesterday for the entire family. We live in Leesburg and I’m working from home tomorrow!
Ida Lee will hold between 12000-15000. Obama came here 4 years ago and the local rag said 15K showed up. All I know is that it took me 2 extra hours to get home due to the traffic. If you come, get there early. Gates open at 4:30!
The weather forecast is nice— the hour is right. Should be a nice turnout.
If you want on/off the VA Ping List, please freepmail me.
If you see posts of interest to Virginians, please ping me.
Something to do.
Maryland “Freak State” PING!
Planning to leave work early tomorrow & go. Then do some campaign work this weekend and watch at the Loudoun polls on election day. This is going to be a long 3 weeks!
I’m here !! Thousands are arriving. Beautiful evening for a freedom rally! Banner reads, “We Need a REAL Recovery!” Lots of country music sounding happy. ;^)
I liked the “Victory in Virginia” banners and “Virginia Believes” signs. Someone in the bleachers held up the Gadsen flag.
Thousands of people were on hand. George Allen’s wife spoke & is pretty pumped up. I wish there was more of Dennis Miller. Romney gave a standard stump speech focused on the economy, with nods to the military. I suppose he is saving Benghazi for next week.
