well, nobody but Jimmy Carter, and the MSM that still gave him enough face-time to try to resurrect his Presidency through the agencies of all the Presidents that followed him.Seems that Carter, with their help and publicity, used
the Presidency as a stepping-stone to his real vocation, which turned out to be as an amateur carpenter with Habitat for Humanity.
Carter was the guy who had the brazen effrontery to have solar panels installed at the White House. Reagan had them taken down. Obama is the guy who brought the circle to a futile close by pouring half a billion dollars of OUR money into a
company that flushed that money down the drain because (surprise!) the couldn’t compete in the marketplace BECAUSE THEY DIDN’T HAVE TO! iNSTEAD, Solyndra was allowed, and ENCOURAGED to operate in an unreal, parallel-universe bubble
which enjoyed all the comforts of unlimited funding, NO risk, and did it all within a massive complex which served as a momument to its own, and Obama’s egos.If there was ever an example of why solar power will never work, is minimally important, and could only provide marginal power needs, it’s Solyndra-—just another example of the folly and wretched and wasteful over-reaching of this Administration.

I admit to having something in common with him as well, to a point. I dislike dumb people.
