In tonight's debate, Mitt Romney missed a great opportunity to zing Mr. Obama.
Here's the line Obama used, and what Romney could have said (and still can in follow-up speeches, if he chooses to use it):
Obama: We have to dig ourselves out of the recession.
What Romney can say to that is: Mr. President, when you are in a hole and you keep digging, the hole doesn't get smaller; it gets bigger!
Isn't that what you have been doing for the last four years, Mr. President, digging the hole of debt deeper and deeper?
Where I come from, when you're in a deep hole, you stop digging! Mr. President, your policies are digging us so deep into debt that we may never get out of the hole.
He should have said “the jerk store called and they’re running out of you!”.
Sounds like kids... “I know you are but what am I”..... Romney did just fine.
We don’t need your Monday morning quarterbacking. We could all point to things Romney could have said but didn’t. What good does it do now? Is he going to go out tomorrow, like Obama, and say “Well I could have said this.....”?

Hold it. . let me get this down. . .ok. . .first Obama says, we are digging a hole. .and then. . .let’s see. . then Romney says. . you see when you dig a hole. . it only gets bigger and then you have to throw the dirt in the yard, which means you go lower and then there is a mound in the yard. . .this is great stuff. . keep it coming!!
I’m glad Romney finally hammered Obama over the bankrupting of GM. I wish he had mentioned how the non-union members of Delphi got screwed out of their pensions.

Sorry but that sounds immature and un-presidential. Romney acted presidential, civil, and knowledgeable on all issues, especially economy.

There were several times when Romney should have punched Obama in the face, but he didn’t. :-)
Romney did just fine. Obama as usual was only trying to make his appearance important.
Chrissy Tingle Legs said the women won’t like Romney interupting obama. I swear that’s what he said. It’s amazing how their bias affects their thinking.
He should have said “Shut your gob, you tit!”.
That’s interesting. I predicted that he might come off that way but I didn’t get that impression myself from watching it. I guess I expected him to be an even bigger dick than he was. lol
I’ve come to the conclusion that the GOPe selected Romney because he’s as clean as a Mormon Temple and filthy rich. That means the Chi-town mob can’t kick him around or blackmail him and they can’t buy him off.
