Isn’t each household in Switzerland issued an assault rifle and required to have training to use it?
I thought that their country was one big militia ?

Why do I envision ranks of Swiss army soldiers sharpening little red knives....

Yeah, you laugh, but the Swiss government has unlocked the seals on their strategic weapons.

Be assured, I mock not...it was just an amusing image. The Swiss have been hard soldiers since before Caesar.

The Popes have thought highly of them for about 600 years and Hitler chose to not mess with them.

Misunderstood my remark. I would never mock the Swiss. I try not to mock anyone. I just think of the Swiss Army knife when someone is talking about the Swiss Army. Love the Swiss and my little lady-like Swiss Army knife! I keep it handy in my purse at all times!
