"First, they said it was not planned, it was part of this tape," Crowley said when Axelrod tried to spin her.
This was Crowley the journalist, unlike the pro-Obama advocate who moderated Tuesday's debate between Obama and Mitt Romney and interjected herself into an argument between Obama and Romney on the exact same issue -- and took Obama's side.
During the debate, Crowley affirmed Obama's assertion that he referred to the Benghazi attacks as acts of terror on the day after.
After Romney correctly said it took Obama 14 days before Obama said the the Benghazi attacks were acts of terror, Crowley took Obama's side -- to an ovation from the town hall audience -- and she proclaimed Obama had indeed claimed the Benghazi attacks were acts of terror the day after the attacks in the White House Rose Garden.
On September 12, the day after the attacks, Obama did say the words "acts of terror" but he was not referring to the attacks that killed U.S. Ambassador to Libya Chris Stevens.
Crowley knew that on September 30 and she conceded it again hours after the debate when she went on CNN and said while Romney "was right in the main, but he just chose the wrong word." But the damage had already been done.
With Obama's reelection on the line, Crowley seemed to have conveniently forgotten the facts she knew two weeks before when she grilled Axelrod in a way she should have Obama.

So Crowley flat lied.
"If you tell the truth, you don't have to remember anything."
Somebody needs to put together a video montage of Obama blaming the YouTube video (and denying any link to terrorism) over, and over again. Juxtaposed with this montage would be clips of Crowley the journalist, and Crowley the Obama tag-team debate partner, then Crowley’s grudging retraction, along with what Obama actually said in the rose garden.
Crowley is a fat, ugly hack for the Obama team.
Why the GOP continues to allow democrat hacks who pose as
journalist to moderate debates, I will NEVER understand.
it's getting interesting NOW!
Seems Team Obama got to Candy to get her mind right.
Yeah sweetie, that'll save your "reputation" as a hard-hitting investigative journalist.
Until she buys prime-time ad time sufficient to reach EVERY person that she misled during that debate, plus 20%, and issues a categorical retraction she won't be out of this.
IOW, you're toast Ms. Crowley, forever.
The guy who shot up the Batman premier was engaged in an "act of terror" but was not a terrorist.
Terrorism needs a political motivation. An act of terror merely needs terrorized people to fit the definition.
It’s another source.....often has slightly different info....think ARCHIVES.
When will I ever learn to look back, and see what’s been posted while I’ve been composing a post.
This is very close to what I was asking for in post #5. Now, there just needs to be actual video clips. Then it should go on YouTube.
In this case a very different headline.
Not sure that video is a 100% smoking gun on Crowley, but interesting.
Remember at the debate when Crowley defended Bama’s Rose Garden “ terrorist” statement as valid that he said “you tell ‘em Candy’. Then he told her to repeat it at which she did like a fawning lamb. She did more damage than good to the Bam because it only deepens suspicions further and she poured gasoline instead of water. So be it.
But but but ...
He had to know it was an ‘act of terror’ because, according to the stories released just before the debate yesterday, he was on the phone with the ‘intel community’ right after the Benghazi attack.
