Morning AM! Going to try out my new Bunn coffeemaker this morning! Some people have reported leaking and overflow problems with the model I have. I hope not. I’m not in the mood for cleaning up a mess!

No, Velocity. I found my old Bunn coffeemaker last week while cleaning out closets. We had stopped using it because it brewed slow and the coffee was weak. No matter what we did. I got on the internet and went to look for the manuel, which I lost years ago. I thought maybe I could try agin to make it work right. Instead, I found there was a recall, so I called and they sent me a new one (not free, but for a much lower cost). So we got it in the mail yesterday.

It was a productive week. I found an old juicer in the closet. We weren’t using it because of a missing plunger. I got online to see if I could find a replacement part, and there was a recall on the juicer as well! They are sending us a new one - for free! I should clean my closets more often!

Good morning! Productive day for me yesterday as well. Drovee the Durango around the parking lot yesterday. It was the first time it’s been out of the garage all summer!

Finished the brake lines yesterday...will still need a bit of bleeding and some other minor details but it will be back in service within a week or so....yee-haw!

Then it’s on to doing some brake work on the Saturn and replacing a headlight bucket on oldest sons’ car and then no more having to work kn cars....for a while, lol.

Good! Just in time for the cold weather! No more walking through the woods to work? We’ll keep our jeep on the road for as long as we can! For once, I’d like to have a vehicle with NO PAYMENTS!

Just brewed some coffee. It’s weak, but we’ll have to adjust to this machine. Our little four-cup Mr Coffee makes perfect coffee as strong as we like it for less coffee in the filter. The Bunn brews so fast it doesn’t have time to sit in the grounds, I guess. We’re buying a water filter. We have really hard water. That might have been what ruined the last Bunn.

We have a 4 - 5 cup Mr Coffee that works great! Makes just enough so none goes to waste.

The one we have at work is another story. It’s one of yhose big, commercial things and it never makes good coffee. It’s very inconsistant so you can’t adjust the strength or acidity. Even adding a pinch of salt doesn’t help.

Romney won the debate! He beat both BO and Candy! The whiners now are just sore losers.

Now with a Wellstone type funeral looming for McGovern and the attack in NYC yesterday...just a couple of October surprises?

Good morning n’@!

I agree w/AM...you hit the jackpot sneakers!!!

I also agree with keeping your Jeep as long as you can. I thought I was having started issues w/my Patriot last week. It’s fine now. I think it wasn’t happy with the Ohio gas we bought after taking son back to college last week.

Yesterday I was kidding around (here) about what hapless ME neighborhood was going to get droned so that Barry could do a victory lap on Monday...well...I saw that mentioned a couple places online yesterday. Lamecherry (verboten here—but eerily accurate) has a Vince Flynn like scenario (which mimmicks Beck’s theories) on Benghazi.

And coffee makers n’@....we had a proctor silex 12 cup, purchased from Target (because I had to have “red”) and the first one lasted about two weeks (the pump function failed). Replacement unit did the same thing (after about 6 months). I got a small 4 cup Kitchen aid, that knock on wood, has lasted years. We just have to reload on weekends:)

I can’t stand Barky’s voice. During the debate...the energy sound clip Quinn just played...made our son (who works for the gas company on te Marcellus Shale) was just about ready to jump at the TV. Last night, driving home on way from my Mimi gig he said his co-workers were so FIRED UP about the election. About how the President LIED about their industry. Guess what they all listened to (around his cube yesterday) RUSH!!!! One co-worker was trying to call in.

I haven’t seen my son this fired up since the last time the Pens won the Stanley Cup:)

Hey, I *just* got up and Quinn was in the middle of an article about what happened 09/11/12... Did you catch who wrote that?
