Obama Cuts Deal With Iran Over Nukes
WND.com ^ | October 18, 2012 | Reza Kahlili

Iranian and U.S. negotiators have reached an agreement that calls for Iran to halt part of its nuclear program in exchange for the lifting of many of the U.S. sanctions against the Islamic regime, according to a highly placed source.

Iran’s supreme leader, Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, expects a letter from President Obama in a few days guaranteeing the details of the agreement, arrived at recently during secret negotiations in Doha, Qatar.

The source, who remains anonymous for security reasons and is highly placed in Iran’s regime, said that once Khamenei receives Obama’s guarantees, he will authorize an announcement by Iran on a solution to the nuclear crisis before the U.S. presidential elections.

The subtitle says it all: "Sanctions to vanish in exchange for 'temporary' halt in enrichment work." It's purely a political move.

This must have something to do with all our servicemen Biden mentioned serving, and being injured, in Iran right now. Like the people Harry Reid knows personally.

The question that once again basically raises itself is what exactly is the American govt and military in a position to do on this ? At best, the targeted assassinations and isolated military strikes of nuke targets - which Israel had been doing and at one point, I believe, effectively made look like a nuke accident - seems to be the best any American military can do no matter how capable of a Commander in Chief we have. Not in any way saying I approve of how Obama is handling this, just saying our options are limited regardless of our military’s Commander in Chief. At the very least, a repeat of the 2003 Iraq war or the 2001 Afghanistan war is clearly not happening here regardless.

I have been reading this was coming for a couple weeks in the middle eastern press. All the articles stated it was pure politics to help Zero. Aster the election they will be restarting, if they actually stop in the first place. Iran did not agree to allow inspectors in to see if they do.

Won’t work for Obama. Romney can rightly ask how anyone could possibly trust the Iranians in any deal.

I just saw the movie Argo (very good, except for the PC bits in the intro and the afterword by the idiot Jimmuh Carter himself) and it reminded me of exactly how horrible the “Islamic Revolution” was and how crazy these people still are.

It also reminded me of how much I detest Jimmuh and how similar Obama is to him in his approach to Iran...and we can see what that got us last time.

Obama would look really foolish if Iran even tries to strike Israel with any missile or any attacks and it won't matter if it's a nuclear tipped missile or not.
BTW ?
Wasn't Obama, this Administration, and the Media blaming Romney/Ryan of them trying to make Benghazigate political ?
and now ?

Obama " appears " ... " seems " to have Iran halt their Nuclear program so it will make Obama look good for his re-election ?
and ?
You even got those in the middle east saying this was purely a political move to make him look good.

It's more like "You stop it until after the election, then I'll turn my head and you can get back to killing Jews. If I'm a lame duck you still have 3 months."

What does THAT say about Iran's timetable if they are actually willing to even entertian this, still knowing they have to act before Romney takes over?

What both the Ayatollah Ali Khamenei (their Muslim) and the Food Stamp President (our Muslim) know, that the American people are not aware of, is that it is perfectly acceptable for Muslim leaders may lie, steal, kill, make treaties and break them, or anything else that will advance Islam. Anything they sign won’t be worth used toilet paper.

They'll stop the part that has no affect on the continuance of uranium enrichment, like maybe the lever in the power shed that turns on the light in the corner.

If true, beware the foreign leader who seeks 0bama's relection.

If true, 'trust but verify'.. HOW?

If true, Americans have seen far too many 'October surprises' for them to have any affect anymore.. Like SUDDENLY lower unemployment rates, SUDDEN reductions in gas prices, or SUDDEN change of heart by Ahmadinejad to "wipe Israel off the map".

Ahmadinejad is a TWELVER who believes his nuclear actions are a positive thing which could bring about the 12th Imam. That's not a fleeting motivation; That's what he stands for and nothing will stop him.

We saw "Argo" too.

During the movie I began to surmise that the movie was made (an Affleck-Clooney joint production) in order to try to revise history...it tried to show how Carter wasn't a failure and had his own successful hostage operation.

I had to laugh when I heard Jimmah narrating at the end of the movie and I realized my theory was correct.

Most people living in the reality based world already know WND is not a serious source of news. It's got some funny conspiracy stories now and again, but is certainly not a website to take seriously.

My guess is most most people saw WND and simply moved on.

Another aspect of this that would be deja vu all over again, would be the fact that Carter’s monumental mistake from the 70s involved Iran. Now it just may be that Obama will follow suit, causing him to be forever tied at the hip with our previous worst president every.

(Ahlul Bayt News Agency) - Leader of the Islamic Republic of Iran Grand Ayatollah Sayyed Ali Khamenei assured Wednesday that “the enemies will be defeated in their war against the Iranian people, which they are waging through their irrational sanctions,” and clarified that “they (enemies) lie when they say that the sanctions will be lifted if Iran halts its nuclear program.”

In a statement before a massive audience in Khorasan, north east Iran, Sayyed Khamenei said that “the enemies have started imposing sanctions on the Iranian people with their lies about the Iranian nuclear program… we should stay alerted when there is a conspiracy by the enemies.”

“The embargo on Iran has been present since years, but today the enemies are magnifying it through media, and unfortunately, some people are harmonizing with them,” he added.

His eminence further stressed that great efforts are being put to overcome the crises in the country, indicating that “thanks to their conscious and firmness, the Iranian people will overcome these problems just like they did with greater ones in the past.”

“Today, the Iranian people have a vision, a plan for the future, and a desire to progress. They also have an unyielding will and an effective presence in the fields of science and technology,” he further stated.

In parallel, Sayyed Khamenei pointed out that “these people frustrated several conspiracies and schemes fabricated by the enemies against them in the past three decades (since the victory of the Islamic Revolution in Iran).”

Moreover, he emphasized that “the first step for any action requires recognizing the dangers and challenges, and holding on to the will,” and considered that “we should specify the points of weakness and evaluate our potentials in order to advance and overcome the challenges.”

Consequently, his eminence reassured that “the Islamic Republic will surpass all the enemies’ schemes if it’s movement was based on a firm will and determination.”

“If we have to put the Iranian people’s goals in one word, we would say “progress”, and as you know, the world “progress” in the Islamic law completely differs from that of the West,” he explained, concluding that “the regional developments do not serve Washington and Tel Aviv’s benefits.”
