Vice President Joe Biden asked supporters Thursday at a Nevada campaign event, How many of you know someone who served in Iraq or Iran?
Biden was joined at the event by Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid and embattled Senate candidate Rep. Shelley Berkley. At Bidens question, Reid raised his hand.
At the event, Biden also said that when it comes to the Young Guns a group of younger Republicans, including Rep. Paul Ryan the bullets are aimed at you.

Iran, huh? The idiot yet again steps on his private parts. It's no wonder. He has his head so far up Obozzo’s a$$, it's sick. And Reid was right there agreeing with him. Come on Nevada, vote this jacka$$ out of office.

How many of you know someone who served in Iraq or Iran? I served in Iran. Actually, it was just one of many places we stopped for a few days, long, long ago, when the Shah was still in power, and Iran was supposed to be an ally of sorts with whom we played some war games.
Uncle Joe was probably not nearly as senile back then.

There is no doubt they were an ally back then, a bulwark against further Soviet expansionism. Turkey was, too. Despite their continuing presence in NATO, I don’t see Turkey as an ally any more, either.

Reid must have been thinking of one of the Hostages he knew that were held in the Tehran embasssy in 79. Either that or he didn’t even hear the question.

Careful folks, it is a trap! Kinda. They will find someone who did serve in Iran. I know because I am one of them but that was 1972-74. I also know of someone who did die in Iran because of a terrorist attack.
But, as we all know, he was referring to the time since going into Afghanistan but what ever stopped them from spinning.

I guess Obama and Biden know someone who died in the war between Iraq and Iran?

The answer is quite a few in Iraq but I don’t know any in Iran. His question was to focus on Iraq I guess.

How many of you are Iran War Vets? Was it the hell I thought it would be? Any of you having flashbacks? Nightmares? PTSD? I for one used my age (50) to get out of the Iran War Draft. Now I'm hoping that the next time we go to war with Iran, we go in to win, with all the forces needed to crush the enemy. While we can blame the politicians who sent us into Iran, we must not take it out on those Iran War Veterans who fought so hard and gave so much.
