Authorities look for suspects in Traver robbery, shootout(CA)

TRAVER, Calif. (KFSN) -- South Valley investigators are looking for the suspects who robbed a Traver mini mart and then exchanged gunfire with the clerk as they were leaving.

The robbery happened around 8:30 Tuesday night at the Traver Market on Merritt Drive near Highway 99. Tulare County Sheriff's deputies say a man wearing a mask and armed with a gun took an undisclosed amount of cash while two other men waited outside. Deputies say the clerk and the suspects started shooting at each other as the suspect tried to get away.
