Ameridose LLC said on Friday that it has agreed to extend a temporary shutdown while state and federal regulators continue an investigation into the company. Ameridose, based in Westborough, Mass., shares some common ownership with NECC. Investigators launched an investigation on Oct. 10.

The better questions to ask the FDA is why we are being forced to compound needed drugs rather than having them sold by pharmaceutical companies.
Scary. I’ve had the back injections in the past. Almost opted for them again this year but chose surgery (next month). I did get a cortisone shot in my elbow, though.
