Romney says Obama playing 'silly word games'

Republican Mitt Romney is accusing President Barack Obama of engaging in "petty attacks and silly word games" just 18 days before the election.

Romney on Friday rallied a raucous crowd in Daytona Beach, Fla., saying Obama was running a small campaign.

Earlier in the day, Obama joked that a case of "Romnesia" was preventing Romney from remembering his own policy positions.

The Republican also accused Obama of having no second-term agenda. He dubbed Obama's bid, quote, "the incredible shrinking campaign."

Romney campaigned with running mate Paul Ryan. A colorful crowd of thousands greeted them — Daytona Beach is hosting its annual Biketoberfest, drawing motorcycle riders from across the country.

Romney will head to Boca Raton, Fla., on Saturday to continue preparations for Monday's debate.

It was also odd vocabulary of Obama’s campaign using a phrase like ‘sketchy deal’, but it is intended to appeal to a low mentality. Putting the other guy down to make yourself look better could also be the Obama campaign wants to seem in control to cover up Obama's mess.

In the case of ‘sketchy deal’, refuting Romeny’s economic plan isn’t easy for the Obama campaign because Romney's plan is based in the realm of known concepts in macroeconomics.

An unknown concept in macroeconomics, Obama's‘building an economy from the middle class out’, could Obama even explain how that works, before the election?

I’d also like to see the media ask the White House Council of Economic Advisers try to explain Obama’s “building an economy from the middle class out”, from an economic professional in the White House?

Or as I heard from Maria Bartiromo on MSNBC as earnings came in yesterday(paraphrased), 'we knew businesses could not use more accounting tricks, and it would get back to fundamental macroeconomics, making profits'. Do you think?

It is irritating how we've talked about concrete concepts all along and the media does everything they can to cover for the Democrat's vague ideas.

‘sketchy deal’

It's a rehash of an old campaign trope about Bush's "risky scheme"

That's all these lefties have - bash capitalism, trash the opponent, etc. When it comes to actual policies, it amounts to selling an armchair utopia. When their plans fail to pan out, they resort to brute force.

It's been tried over and over, and has never worked (except for the killing or starvation of millions part - that's one thing they're pretty good at).

Another "silly word game"; Obama said he cut taxes for businesses 12 times. No tax rates were cut, they are tax credits;

http://money.cnn.com/2012/09/24/smallbusiness/obama-tax-cuts/index.html
If extensions or expansions aren’t double counted, the list comes out to 14 tax breaks — and only five are still around. Here’s the complete list.

Tax breaks that are still here and intact

Health care tax credit:
Shorter holding period for owners:
Mobile phone deductions:
Startup deductions:
Limited penalties on tax errors:

Tax cuts that are still around but weaker

Bonus depreciation:
Exclusion on capital gains:
Higher expensing:
Carryback:
Work opportunity tax credit:

Tax breaks that are long gone

Payroll tax exemption:
Lower estimated tax payments:
Health care deduction:
All-purpose credits:

Romney’s right....when all you’ve got is Big Bird and free condoms, your campaign is truly pathetic.

Shades of the blue collar comedy, or something like that.

He sounded stupid. Seriously, this is what he offers up to convince people he is the right man for the country. Pathetic.

Obama is saying the same things he said 4 years ago.

He didn't get it done. He made things worse.

Do we need 4 more years of that?

I don't.

I did not want Romney as my candidate, I did not like the way the RINO’s picked him, but damned if I am not starting to like him.

We will have to keep a close watch on him when he wins the Presidency, but I believe he can be worked with.
I have more Faith in Romney actually than I do in a Republican Congress. After seeing their record I have no faith in them. They may be better than a majority Democrat Congress, but I have a feeling that even with the majority for the republicans, the Democrat minority will be leading, simply because Republicans have no leadership in congress now.

What Obama forgets is he sucked there too.

It will hinge on the Monday Debate now. If Mitt wins—Obama is toast. Beware—the drone strikes are coming! The surprise is on the way! Then the election! Democrat Lawyers “Voter Fraud” No Justice Riots will burn cities, disorder in the streets, War overseas, Then economic problems, inflation of money—Goal: make Mitt a one term president and the new George Bush Pinata. The Media will do its part to secure the USSA that Obama wished for “No up, no down all equal” (But Democrats more equal than others). Let us be ready! Let us be alert for the moves to come in 2013 from the left. Remember—the Liberals can be self destructive. Look for the “Tell all” books about Obama to be released. Most of all I fear violence and money robbing inflation (all blamed on Mitt too) to come. BUT the day may well come when America will have her back to the wall, No Allies, facing a confederation of Enemies—many Nuclear armed—lock in a war that we may not be able or willing to win. Then we will need our Churches! Traditions and values or face the bleak slavery of radial socialism, starvation and death camps.

Barry the Brain needed a ghost writer to come up with Romnesia...

Its an old term used in Mass to describe an alleged response to Romney and
a woman who had an abortion.

Lets see if this was Barry projecting something that will be used against Mitt
in the final weeks.

Romney is going to feel right at home in Boca Raton. I was down there this week. I saw twice as many Obama signs as I did Gary Johnson signs (hint, if you add them up you’ll get a total of three — now who says you’ll never use algebra?). I don’t know, I probably didn’t see a thousand for Romney. Certainly in the hundreds.
