Henry and Mary Alice Cisneros want the 45 mostly immigrant families served by American Sunrise, the nonprofit they founded, to take a pledge — a 10-point promise to become American.

They'll pledge to learn English, and to know American customs. They'll vow to become “learning” households that meet their financial needs and make college graduation a family tradition.

Most importantly, they'll agree to “carry our home country in our heart but commit to our obligations in the United States.”

They'll agree to “carry our home country in our heart but commit to our obligations in the United States.”Un huh I really believe this... Seeing as how they want to Commit their obligations to the United States, shall we first address their obligations to comply with all U.S.Immigration laws, including the ones that say you cannot enter into this country legally for starters .

I didn’t even know they were still married to each other after his very public sexual scandal, and criminal charges..

Great idea-and if they came here illegally, let them begin by going back to their home country and getting in line-the back of the line-with all the people waiting to come here without breaking the law.

We lived in the city when all that went down, and his wife was rumored to be addicted to feelgood drugs to keep her quiet and docile through the scandal-and she supposedly got knocked up with the late-born kid to keep Henry from leaving, too.

I think those rumors are likely true-she always acted like a weak sister who can’t do anything without a man’s permission or help. I have zero respect for either of the Cisneros-they deserve each other.
