BURLINGTON, Vt. -Overseas Vermont voters will get more time to vote by absentee ballot.
The state of Vermont agreed to push the deadline back to November 16th. Ballots went out late to overseas Vermont residents and military personnel -- and the U.S. Justice Department sued the state - saying Vermont needed to give voters more time.
Vermont Secretary of State Jim Condos says the ballots went out late - because of a recount in the Progressive primary for Governor.
Good job, Mitt!
Terrific news, thanks... as far as I’m concerned, military should vote FIRST.
Godluvya, Mitt!
This was the article I noticed recently:
“Jurisdictions in Vermont, Michigan, Mississippi and Wisconsin have failed to mail absentee ballots to military members by the Sept. 22, 2012, deadline established by the MOVE Act. That was 45 days before the November 6 elections, which was what was required.”

Indeed!
Jurisdictions in Vermont, Michigan, Mississippi and Wisconsin........What the Hell is the matter with Wisconsin? Sounds like it is corrupt to the core. Sorta like PA...wait, WA..wait...NJ ....wait....
It looks like Romney is trying to fix it in all the states with this problem. I found this article about Wisconsin, but it mentions the other states, as well.
“ROMNEY CAMPAIGN FILES FEDERAL SUIT TO ENSURE MILITARY BALLOTS ALL COUNT IN WISCONSIN”
“Romney spokesman Ryan Williams told The Daily Caller that the campaign is monitoring the military ballot process across the country, not just in swing states. The campaign has also sent letters regarding potential UOCAVA violations to officials in Mississippi, Michigan, New Jersey, Alabama, and Vermont.”
