Benghazi's meaning for Israel and the Mideast (Great Analysis-Debate Prep)

....Even before the attack on the U.S. compound, according to an Oct. 2, 2012 report in The Washington Post, the White House held a series of secret meetings that came out of a growing concern that "al-Qaida in the Islamic Maghreb" (AQIM) was gaining strength after it took control of the northern parts of the African state of Mali, where it created a new Afghan-like sanctuary. In the last year it has begun to spread its influence across the Sahara. AQIM's weaponry came from post-Gadhafi Libya, whose arsenal was boosting the arms trade from Morocco to Sinai. Israeli sources have noted that Libyan weapons, including shoulder-fired SA-7 anti-aircraft missiles, were also reaching the Gaza Strip, where one was fired last week at an Israeli helicopter for the first time.

Moreover, it was unveiled at the end of September by journalist Eli Lake that a U.S. government study this past August reported how the leadership of al-Qaida in Pakistan dispatched senior commanders to North Africa to help build its new network there. This is a pattern found elsewhere. Two Palestinian Salafists targeted by the IDF on Oct. 13 were part of an effort to reorganize and strengthen al-Qaida networks in the Gaza Strip; one of them was linked to jihadi networks in Egypt and Jordan, and had fought with al-Qaida in Iraq. These same networks are building up their capacity to operate from Sinai, in particular.

While only a small number of AQIM combatants were involved in the attack on the U.S. mission in Benghazi, within hours U.S. intelligence agencies intercepted communications between members of Ansar al-Sharia, the main Libyan militia behind the operation, and al-Qaida in the Islamic Maghreb.

Yep. But why did Obama and Hillary fight for regime changes in Libya and Egypt and Syria? What did they or the Democrat party have to gain from this? Campaign donations? Surely, the Democrat President of the United States wouldn’t risk American lives and treasure to enrich the Democrat party, would he?

Benghazi is Israel's Cuba—an Islamist port near enough to stage effective amphibious attacks against the Jewish state but far enough away to be easily defended from IAF air assault.

Obama and his Islamist masters won...Israel will perish and in her death throws will vaporize the population centers of every Muslim nation within 2000 miles with her nuclear arsenal—and Iran hopes they will alone arise from the ashes...while here in collapsed America we will be either dying for the fascist dictator Obama or killing for him.

Easily defended from the IAF is a non-compute. The Jihad has been trying to smuggle in weapons by sea to the Gaza Strip for years, I might point out. They prefer the Sinai. The open ocean is a easy spot for radar.

Interesting point, the danger to Israel of another Islamist on it borders. I suspect our present leadership is up to its armpits in NWO plans to use the Muslims as a discardable sock puppet.

You also rightly point out that if push gets to shove, Israel will not allow itself to be pushed out to sea, they will take out the Muslims themselves. Nice thing about WMD, they were invented for Kamikaze death cultists, and work well for that purpose to this day.

The Muslim Horde is a tool of the Globalists, one they figure is easy to dispose of with the push of a button. While terrorism is workable against soft targets, it fails miserably against hard targets. And the converse, Islam is a very soft target. It cannot defend its cities. Once the Muslims open the WMD can of Whoopass, Islam is history.

With the USA the life span of Islam is 14 minutes from launch to delivery. With Israel?

Much closer...

I really think Israel is here to stay. There is not a harder target on earth, because the people are motivated, and willing to defend themselves. Don't take this wrong, the USA is tough, but in the US, when a bomb goes off people scatter. But in Israel, and I have seen this personally, people run TO the bomb blast and bring lots of guns.

In the US, a terror attack makes people afraid and angry, In Israel, it just makes them angry.

Big difference. Trust me, Israel is a HARD target.

Superpower China is ever ready to take the nuclear football away from North Korea should they get more nuts than needed.
Cuba could go ape-shit around the world as long as the Superpower Soviet Union had their back.
Serbia felt safe to assassinate Austrian royalty as long as the Russian superpower was an ally.

The Muslim Brotherhood is Islam's superpower sharing ideology if not borders with every true follower of the genocides of Islam...

...to conquer Chritiandom, the Islamists first took Palestine and then North Africa.

The PLO and Hamas in Gaza have never been a military problem for Israel, they have been a political problem.

Obama’s actions destabilizing the Middle East, surrounding Israel with hostile enemies who are openly threatening to destroy it, and loosing massive quantities of modern weapons to terrorists have fundamentally changed the reality on the ground in the Middle East.

Israel no longer has the luxury of “restraint” against provocations that it's opponent's have come to expect and rely on in a futile effort to placate some nebulous “World Opinion”.

Their problem now is one of basic survival against an opponent who vastly outnumbers them and who is in the process of obtaining nuclear weapons with the specific, publicly stated goal to destroy them.

Israel has been treating it's opponents as a political problem and not as a military problem for the last 20 years in the hopes of achieving a political solution in the region.

It's now obvious that Israel has been dealt with in bad faith and no political solution is possible, nor was one ever seriously attempted by the other side.

All of the Peace Treaties, Peace Initiatives, Special Envoys and Summit Meetings were nothing more than charade between Israelis desperate for peace and security, Arab Governments who were never actually serious about peace and who were instead were using the process to wage a successful world wide war of marginalization and isolation against Isreal, and third parties whose primary interests were to keep the “Peace Process” alive and kick the can down the road despite the obvious fact that the whole system was based solely on “Process” and never on “Peace”.

Israel now has a simple choice-

The first option is to do nothing and wait for it's enemies to obtain nuclear weapons and prepare for the inevitable war of annihilation against Israel that they are boasting about launching against Israel.

The second option is a pre emptive strike at the time and place of it's choosing against it's opponents that eliminates the threat presented by the first option.

The big problem with this is any strike effective enough to accomplish it's goals is going to have serious repercussions in “world opinion” and foreign relations fall out.

Looking at the situation from the perspective of the Israeli leadership based on the reality imposed by recent developments leads one to some rather disturbing conclusions as to what the appropriate course of action could and should be in the absence of America’s support to eliminate the Iranian Nuclear threat and come to Israel's aid in the event of a full scale attack on the country by it's neighbors .

I totally agree with you. I think you are spot on in your assessment. When the smoke clears, the numbers of Muslim deaths are going to make the holocaust look like childs play. The only option that is acceptable to “World Opinion” is that Israel lay down and die.

So in my opinion, all the dithering by the UN and Obama on the nuclear issue with the Jihadi is the SOLE blame for the inevitable outcome.

I stand with Israel, NOT with Obama. Israel has bent over backwards trying to make peace with Rabid Jihadi and has clearly demonstrated that it does not work. Unfortunately our Cowardly Congress is too dense to get a clue. If the United States Congress had a set, we could have saved the world from its first full scale nuclear war. If you do not spank kids when they are unruly, reality will do it for you. The Death Cult of Islam will start a war it cannot fight with Israel. Israel is too small to adsorb a first strike, ergo, Israel must strike first or die.

You know I post this on occasion....but i don't hear back much as to whether anyone has bothered to look at it.

It does explain much as to why the Far leftists have decided to align with the Islamists....even though it seems illogical:
