Skip to comments.Bill Clinton: Obama would totally win if Americans weren’t so darn “impatient”

One among the top tier of President Obama's army of surrogates strikes again. Trying to promote Team O's latest messaging that, why yes, we are indeed shameless enough to actually embrace our economic record and spin it as a positive, President Bill Clinton painted a picture of Americans that was somewhat less than flattering on the campaign trail on Friday, via CBS News:
Campaigning for Obama in Green Bay, Wis., Clinton urged voters to stay the course as more signs of a recovery sink in. Clinton said voters should judge Obama on the past three years, in which private sector job growth has made up for lost ground.
"This shouldn't be a race," Clinton said. "The only reason it is, is because Americans are impatient on things not made before yesterday and they don't understand why the economy is not totally hunky-dory again."
The former president said Obama’s difficulty in his race with Republican challenger Mitt Romney is that “people don’t feel it yet” even as the unemployment rate ticks down and the manufacturing sector perks up.
Oh, of course — but for those damnably impatient Americans who have spent the last few years watching their incomes shrink and gas and food prices rise; who’ve seen their employers dropping health insurance plans; who’ve been unemployed or underemployed for months on end; they just don’t get it. Forget that President Obama employed Keynesian principles that have kept us in the most milquetoast economic recovery since the Great Depression: There are just too many factors outside of his control, for which we shouldn’t blame him, and if we just hike taxes a bit on the wealthiest few Americans (who already happen to shoulder the largest tax burden while providing jobs for others), then we can just take our sweet time reforming our current spending habits while adding trillions to the debt.
But Clinton says that it’s Mitt Romney who “thinks we’re dumb.” Riiiiight.
Bill sez wait until your a## is on fire before you call the fire department. Such a roll model this dolt is
I don’t have time for Billy Bob or 0zombie today. Oops..call me impatient.
I get the feeling he likes to say things about Obama that can be read and understood in different ways, endorsements that sound a lot like attacks or put-downs.
First signs of an excuse on November 7. MSM willl be all over it.
It reminds me of what Clinton/Obama co-religionists in the Soviet bloc of old liked to say to excuse their constant and continuous failures: “It’s not the theory, it’s the damn people!” They were of course right without knowing or admitting it, it’s the human nature that will not yield to their utopian fantasies. It is eerie that Krintong would nowcome with with something similar, theirs is a kind of religion, isn’t it!
You’re either a liar or hopelessly out of touch, Billy Bob. Americans aren’t impatient—it’s gone way beyond that. They are feeling desperate and close to despair. Even bilge-rats will sense that they need to jump off a sinking ship.
This from a guy who doesn’t know self control from every man for himself.
He is a certified liar (convicted in a court of law for such), with no regard for the sanctity of marriage, family and country.
He is indecent to the highest level.
When will Americans be sick of him?
When will he go away?
Dear bill, we’ve been extremely patient.
KMA Slick! I just read where the third world commie fags from the U.N. are going to be “monitoring” the upcoming U.S. elections. When America was nothing but Americans, these Bags ‘O Third World Crap wouldn’t dare try to pull this BS. They would have been tarred and feathered and then hung. As it should be. Get the UN out of the US. They are the greatest danger to the future of America and freedom.
Sometimes patience is just ignorance of not knowing what to do, which is the case of Obama and the left. With Romney we won’t have to be patient without end, and our patience will be rewarded with a turn around. Patiently waiting for $8 dollar a gallon Obamagas is not the way a country should waste its time.
Many of the Obama people blatantly lying to us, congress, and rest of world came from Clinton administration.
Susan Rice, Eric Holder and Hillary. Hillary is getting foreign policy advice from Clintonite John Podesta.
Clinton needs to outline all of the progress made by the Progressives at JustUs, EPA, Homeland Security, HHS, Treasury, Interior, etc.
Well, Bill, I didn’t grift as much money as you and Hillary did for the last 25 years so, yeah, I am a little impatient to improve my lot.
This jacka$$ is always lying. He should have gone to prison.
More of Slick Willy’s “damning with faint praise” of the community organizer. What Slick is really saying is, “Yep, I know Obama has been a failure and Americans don’t believe the next four will be any better than the past four.”
the manufacturing index is worse than it was a year and a half ago.
Yeah four years of unemployment is barely enough to cause a family to even take notice (sarc).
I guess we were all conditioned by the rapid turnaround on cattle futures. We needs patience
The problem isn’t Dear Leader. The Peon-I mean People are just not good enough for Him.
It depends on what the meaning of “is” is.
See, it’s the fault of the people. Just like when Pruneface the Traitor ran in 2004.
Clinton accusing the American voters of premature anti-obamaulation.
Classic “ we know what’s best for you” liberal response.
0bama himself said he’d be a one term president if he didn’t succeed.
Oh yes we DO understand. Wait three weeks, it will all be much clearer then.
The simple fact that Clinton, Obama and the rest of the democrat gangsters haven’t been tarred and feathered or worse is a testament to the patience of the American people.
William J.Clinton would be the second to last person I would be listening too.Obama would be dead last.
AN OLE COWPOKE WHEN RIDIN' OUT FROM OLE SALT LAKE ONE DAY
(try this on for size)
HE BECAME PRESIDENT
Says a man who could never delay gratification.
I know, I know.
People are whining about Cardinal Dolan’s invite of Obama to the Al Smith Catholic fundraiser stating that Fulton Sheen would not have dined with Hitler.
Americans LOVE these two grifters and their equally despotic wives.
They’re Elvis, The Lord, and George Washington, in that order, all in two packages, but Clinton, the indicted, impeached the indellible wins.
When Clinton leaves us there’ll be a tomb of the impeached president complet with guards and wreath laying ceremonies.
No, you’re right. It will be awful.
Yeah, right. In short, substitute STUPID for impatient and there you have the standard Democrat line. Dumb-a$$ Americans just not bright enough to know when they’re well off! Why don’t they trust what Dems TELL them rather than what they see!
He must be bedding Gloria Allred on the side.
I think we already know he’s at least one of those.
Oh, and NOT to accuse my esteemed Cardinal Dolan of liking this disgrace of a political leader.
Whatever he might have liked (wrongfully) in the past has gone the way of the promises of religious protection HHS would have granted. I have reason to hope it has opend the conciousness of the entire USCCB, including their leader, Dolan, to the strange bedfellows democrats, indeed, politicians are of the Church in the US.
Obama had to be invited. Not literally, but the lesser choice of tow evils, perhaps turning into a good choice as Romney and as well the Cardinal roasted him on his pro abortion stance.
But on the other hand, I never had to RAPE a woman either. So I guess it all depends on the definition of "impatient". Right, ya degenerate sex fiend.
Bill is telling the faithful that it’s OK to vote for Romney, if you read between the lines.

You’ve always been pretty impatient with the girls.
Looks who’s talking.....
And America would respect you if you were not a sexual preditor Mr. President.
Bill Clinton has most lucrative year on speech circuit (2011)
Former President Bill Clinton commanded the largest speaking fees of his career in 2011, earning $13.4 million and exceeding his previous record by 25%.
... A CNN analysis of those records shows that the former commander-in-chief has earned $89 million from paid speeches since leaving the White House in January 2001.
It’s not about patience. Obama promised that if his $800-billion-dollar stimulus package was enacted, unemployment would not go above eight percent. Yet it was enacted, and unemployment DID go above eight percent.
No matter how much or little patience the American people may have, the fact that unemployment went above eight percent will never change.
Obama also promised that if ObamaCare was passed health-care costs would not rise. But they HAVE risen. Facts are eternal.
If Obama’s presidency ends next January, it will be because he failed to do what he promised to do and thereby made virtually every American’s life worse than it was before he came to office.
And Obama will make his presidency even worse if he blames some lack in the American people rather than his own glaring failures for his loss of the election next month.
That would make a good bet if you could get any takers.
Big talk coming from a 1% er ..haha
