But it has a Republican governor and Senator Pat Toomey, as of 2010. It could happen.

Ohio insurance. Obama has invested enormous resources into the Ohio ground game.

I found it particularly interesting that they quoted a 27-year old banker and an 18-year old college student, both with enthusiastic comments for RR. But I thought EVERYONE under 30 was an Obama fan.

>>PA is fool’s gold!<<

Yes I remember hearing that from Joe Scarborough Oct 2010.

I wonder what Pat Toomey has to say about that.

Pennsylvania did shift the GOP way in 2010 when we elected a Romney-type moderate Tom Corbett governor without my vote.

He got 54 percent.

We also elected Pat Toomey with 51 percent of the vote including mine.

I think it would be a good bet for Romney to invest here along with Michigan and Wisconsin.

It may end up being tougher to win Ohio than PA because the GOP there lost a referendum to control big labor unions.

I’ve been getting mailings and robocalls saying Romney will save Medicare and Social Security.

They don’t inspire me but maybe others will be.

Agreed. Every election we go through the same crap with PA. It’s a blue state because of the inner cities. Period. I remember people getting hyped when McCain was polling within 4 or 5 points a month out. He lost it..Romney will lose PA as well.

Lemme tell you this much...if I am wrong and Romney does win PA? You might as well open every bottle of booze in your house because it will be an early night and proof we are headed for a landslide for Romney. Win PA, VA, NC, and FLA...then who the hell cares about Ohio.

PA always does the strip tease for the GOP and then breaks their heart. Too much of a Dem machine. Unless you can really motivate the Reagan Democrats to switch, you have no real hope. A pro-abortion, pro-gay Republican candidate is not going to win the hearts of the heavily Catholic state.

PA is fool’s gold!

Sixty staff is not a big investment, if it panics the Dems into spending a lot more in PA, and draws away Dem resources from other states.

Losing PA, or even APPEARING to lose PA on election day would be demoralizing to the West Coast Dems.

"PA is fool’s gold!

Fully one-quarter of the state is bordered by W. Va., a state that gave 41% of Bobo's primary vote earlier this year to a registered felon. If every last rural voter gets it in gear, and Philly is down by a handful of points, PA can be won.
