ST. AUGUSTINE — Vice President Joe Biden left no doubt about the people he and President Barack Obama are representing in the upcoming election.

In his speech to more than 900 spectators Saturday at Ketterlinus Gymnasium, Biden continually hammered home his message that the Democratic Party is best for the country’s middle class.

Speaking for about 35 minutes — sometimes virtually yelling — Biden pointed out the president’s plans for keeping taxes lower for the middle class while raising them for the wealthy.

So two weeks before the election Plugs Biden is yelling at 900 spectators (SEIU parasites) in Florida. I wonder how this compares to their crowds in 2008.

The entitlement class are the only ones making out with Obama as President.

The Middle Class is screwed, and we know it.

Good! Let the democRATS waist their time in a state they've already lost.

Time, money, effort, all waisted :)

I'm getting my popcorn ready!

Just arrived back from Florida. Traveled to St. Augustine/Jacksonville and several hundreds miles throughout the middle/upper part of the state.

We witnessed thousands of R/R signs.

I've posted this on a few threads this morning, so sorry for the repeat if you happen upon this.

Just want everyone to know what we witnessed along the hundreds of miles we traveled throughout Florida.

My impression.....Romney/Ryan ticket has the majority of support in mid to upper Fla...from east coast to west and into the panhandle.

Reading this at the breakfast table this AM got me into the post coffee reading room pronto. I guess the TU is coming out for Ozero for sure putting this on the front page today.

St Augustine is loaded with medicare and social security types. I guess the scare message is being voiced loud and clear there so they sent in plugs to make it yesterday as his excellency is boning up on a few more lies to spring tomorrow night probably on a CC with his accolyte Schieffer.

First question tomorrow night to his excellency: You have said that Romney has made ill timed accusations about libia, do you stand by that comment? Thank you Bob for letting me point that out. You see, I was under tremendous pressure to put a cover story on what happened there because as has been reported in the press and which I will formally announce now, we have an agreement in hand that guarantees peace in our time with Iran over the nuclear issue. Romney almost upset the deal with his ill timed and insulting commentary to me and our state department staff. Had I jumped to conclusions about Iranian involvement, as he was alluding too, our deal would have collapsed.

Romney: Whoa, I never said anything about Iran. Shieffer interrupting: well, right here in the transcript furnished by Jay Carney it is penciled in that you did say that...let’s move onto the next question. So since you want the speak now, here is the next one to you Romney: Do you think it was wise for you to interrupt secret US Iran negotiations to make a political point?

Yep, Vice President Joe Binder can really pack 'em in. Maybe nine hundred in the local gym to hear him speak? Well, read on.....

From the St. Augustine Record: "More than 1400 people attended Ketterlinus Gym on Saturday night to watch 'Rumble in the Ancient City', a martial arts event."

That is definitely the case here in NE Florida....Nassau County. Guarantee there will be at least 60% vote for Romney, perhaps higher. Duval County, to our south which is Jacksonville, was 50-50 with McCain running. I expect that one to be 50+ Romney...enthusiasm for Romney overwhelms a sinking Zero. The whole of North Florida through Pensacola will be Romney for sure from what I see. I notice where Alan West has a substantial lead over Murphy in South East Florida so even with the RINO’s trying to kill off Alan with an unfavorable redistricting, looks like he will win and with him that area for Romney too. The national polls keep calling Florida a toss up or leaning Romney while The Zero has pretty much conceded the state to Romney from what I gather. They don’t even have Debbie Blabermouth on the airways in Florida as she and her cohort’s positions are so unpopular.

Been wrong before but I guarantee Florida goes for Romney.

Sounds like great busy-work for Bite-me. I sure haven’t heard of the marxist messiah bothering to campaign down in Florida lately.

“So two weeks before the election Plugs Biden is yelling at 900 spectators (SEIU parasites) in Florida”.

900 hundred attendees on a Saturday is all they could muster. I live in St. Augustine. It is in St Johns county which is very, very red. Romney was here on a very hot Tuesday morning in Sept and he drew 5,000-6,000 supporters at an outside venue. He could have had another 2 to 3 thousand if there was more room.

A funny observation from St Augustine:

I run an historic site in the city that is free to enter but where we have a box for donations to support preservation work. It’s right near the school where Biden spoke, and a number of the speech attendees stopped in at our site on their way back to their cars. The majority appeared to be quite well-heeled and well educated older people (50-60ish).

The result? We had one of our highest vistor counts ever...accompanied by one of our lowest collection amounts ever!

Dems are such cheap so and sos. I guess they’re all waiting for the government to make their donations for them.

The Obama campaign knows it lost Florida already, so it’s sending Biden to a state where, presumably, he can do no further harm. Next they’ll send him to Alabama.

Biden in St. Augustine: “It’s a pleasure to be here in North Carolina. The fort first erected here by Lewis and Clark is magnificent. It’s nice to see some familiar communist faces here from Cuba. And I want you all to know I’m a longtime fan of the Rams. I see several paralyzed veterans in the audience today...stand up and take a bow!”
