I haven’t been able to think of Romney as a politician. I see him more as a businessman first. I think we’re going to have to throw the politicans under the bus if we are ever going to be able to fix this mess we’re currently in. JMO.
Everything Obama has done in the last 4 years has been a “political payoff”. The problem is...a lot of those political folks are now dependent on Obama and he’s not going to be there.
Most importantly, I think Romney has the desire to get the country out of the Obama malaise.
Romney was certainly not my first choice philosophically, but he does have a proven record of getting things done, and being able to function on a high level executively. Those things are indispensible in a President.
Personally, I don’t see how you get a yearly trillion dollar deficit cut down to a managable size without a massive federal layoff and bennie cut.
Perhaps, open up all our natural resources so we become an oil/energy exporter?
Just look at how hard it always was to get a 200 billion deficit cut down to size.
Obama has set us on a course for destruction that may be hard to change. (Still want his commie ass tossed, though)
