Grundy is definitely deep in the coalfields. It’s definitely a drive from I-81 or I-77.
**** the Powder River Basin coalfields—coal from this region is highly-desired because of its clean-burning properties.****
Our local power plant uses coal from this area. Now the EPA is DEMANDING the plant install unneeded scrubbers to remove the extremely small amount of sulfur in the fly ash, and also install an unneeded bag house to remove what fly ash is left over after it goes through the electrostatic precipitators.
The EPA is a regulatory agency. They must always find something real to regulate, if they cannot find something, they will make something up and regulate it.
They are a solution in search of a problem.
