Got to attend the Ryan rally near the Pittsburgh Airport on Saturday. Very exciting.
How’s it feel on the ground in PA right now?
Did you enjoy the rally? I thought of you as soon as I saw on Twitter there would be one. It looked heavily attended.
Concerned about tonight, because imho, Romney has not shut Obama up when Obama gets all preachy about how dare anyone play politics and that he (Obama) didn’t call it terrorism at first because he didn’t want to release misinformation. Romney needs to say Mr. President, blaming a YouTube video no one knew about was not only spreading misinformation but playing politics with the lives for all Americans. How many more riots occurred because of the misinformation you spread on the YouTube video being behind the Benghazi attack? Why were you unable to answer that 3 am phone call? When an emergency arises, Mr. President; you don’t hit snooze and continue to sleep; you get up and you lead!
But that’s just me. lol. It’s going to be a hard balance for Mitt to walk tonight. I was somewhat disturbed by all the “relaxing” videos I saw of Mitt yesterday. Playing flag football, out to eat, watching the Jets/Patriots game. Relax in 15 days. Now is not the time to take anything for granted.
Well, it’s really hard to gauge actual support because suburban and rural Western and Central PA are different from the City of Pgh and Eastern PA/Philly. I definitely see many more R/R yard signs vs. Obama signs, but then I haven’t gone into the City much lately. I still encounter some knuckleheaded Obama holdouts from time to time.
Oh, and since I was in the front row of the rally (got to shake Paul Ryan’s hand—will never wash it again!), I couldn’t really see how many people were there. Local press said about 700-1000. Very enthusiastic.
Time better spent. Ya'll take good notes and watch out for the DOS attacks.

I’m just glad Obama’s going to have to spend money in PA and glad that Romney has a fighting chance. If Romney could pull off MAJOR upset and win PA and Ohio, by 10:30 pm Tuesday night, we could be hearing massive suicides by Obots. Not likely to happen, I know; but a gal can dream, no?

How exciting! I saw some pictures on Romney’s Scrapbook Facebook page. Seemed very well attended. He is a great speaker in person, isn’t he?

Romney yard signs popping-up with surprising frequency in my Blue Collar Yellow Dog part of town. Others I’m sure sympathize but don’t want the signs out so as to avoid provoking the union hacks.
Obama has had to open a campaign office in a neighborhood that has probably not gone GOP since the 1920’s. I think two things are sinking him with Democrat Joe Yinzer:
- War on Coal
- Siding against them in a potential race conflict (Skip Gates, Trayvon Martin, Philly Black Panthers, et. al)
Also the state had ginned up an advertising campaign to remind voters they would need ID this time. Those ads are still running despite the fact that a judge put the law on hold. So a lot of the feeble minded may end up staying home.

I commute deep into Philly every day. You could count the Zero signs on one hand. Same with the bumper stickers. Here in eastern Montco, the Romney signs are EVERYWHERE. They far outnumber Obama signs. I am very encouraged on PA. People seemed jazzed to vote for Romney.
