More Snarky, Condescending, Peevish & Small:
Washington Post via PJ Media/Instapundit ^ | 10-23-2012

Translated: Mitt, you're an idiot for counting ships. You apparently don't realize that technology doesn’t require ships anymore (even though the Navy says they require 313, apparently Obama knows better).

This impending reality clearly angered Obama. His remarks suggested, "I am in charge here and I won't allow sequestration to happen." It's as though he thinks he gets to decide this question, which he doesn't. Sequestration will happen unless a miracle occurs and Congress passes a budget which, by the way, it hasn't been able to during the entire Obama presidency.

All this POS communist Obama could do was attack Romney with lies that someone wrote for it and made it memorize them.

This Obama is a socialist dictator who will destroy what’s left of the U.S. and our freedom.

We owe it to our founding fathers , to the people who will live in the future to save freedom now in this most crucial time. Will those that come after us say that we did everything we could to keep them free? We should go to Romney’s site and volunteer to call voters in Ohio to get them to the polls.

I think you nailed the key points about BO. He just cannot help himself. On equal footing in a debate, the bully resorts to his native self. I think Romney’s reluctance to be led into debating traps which I guess BO and his crack team of advisors developed probably pushed his buttons and he finally began to unravel. I think Romney sensed it too and was smart enough to not try to push him over the edge as that could have backfired. Take the TKO, don’t go for the knock out...it is a win.

If Romney handled Obama like this imagine how he would handle some other countries leaders, what I am saying is Romney will earn respect in the eyes of other nations leaders.

The Japanese will say something to the effect that Romney “doesn’t lose face” or has bushido or warriors spirit.

Romney was good, and I don’t care what the numbers say, Romney would be my next POTUS.

Just as a matter of interest; Romney was right, Russia is still the biggest international threat to the United States.
Whether the Obunghole has noticed it or not, Putin has restarted the cold war in a high flying manner.

True. But since Obama is a communist, he supports Putin.

What I noticed about Obama was his near frantic desperation.

Romney wins, it’s not even close.

Too bad Romney didn’t say something about Obama getting the endorsement of Putin, Chavez, and Castro... Hasn’t Ahmadinejad endorsed Obama as well?

Those things ought to tell everybody all they need to know about Obama’s foreign policy.

As I posted on another thread Romney needs to point out that our enemies have the same technology we have. And obama didn’t deny he wants to cut the navy back to the 1915.

“What a marroon” is from Bugs Bunny. It works wherever the reference works, as it is classic.. and packs all of the appropriate imagery

Off subject, yes. trivial, I think not.

It’s Bugs.

I agree on Romney’s Calm Confidence as you say

Romney was too much of a gentleman at times, but maybe that was his campaign strategy for this third debate.

Obama threw out soo much dishonest chaff that needed correction that Romney didn’t have time to correct all of it. He corrected some of it and continued to take the high road.

At times, I felt he should have essentially thrown up his arms in frustration and said:

“Why do you keep repeating all these snarky lies when time and time again, I’ve corrected you on them?”

In the end, I think a lot boils down to shallow things like facial expressions, appearance/style. Romney clearly had that over Barky Obunga.

My neighbor lady (85 y/o conservative) called me right after and said “Romney looked FATHERLY.” Hadn’t thought of it that way, but that’s an appeal he probably has for a lot of people. He’s a true father in real life and he exudes that quality.

Obama exudes the characteristics of a petulant punk.

His beady eyes made him appear as if he was always trying to squirm out of another one of his lies.

But the “FATHERLY” comparison sums up an essence about Romney that Obama just doesn’t have.

Bork Obunga is a professional complainer and that’s it...

Since America has become a nation of children anyway, it follows that they may fall for more of a FATHER figure than Obama. That’s why Obunga will lose.

Watching Obama’s facial expressions on a split screen you could see the seething hatred Obama has for Romney and especially to being questioned about anything. He did not look Presidential. I think it was telling that some observers said that to someone seeing this debate totally unaware of who the players were would perceive Romney to be President and Obama to be the inexperienced challenger.

He tried a "beat-down" two or three times, got snarky as the title says. But if what the women reporters have been telling us is true, Barky's small-weenie reflex may have betrayed him by annoying or offending the women voters that the Electoral College sharpshooters are lusting after -- the legendary 30,000 moderate/low-info (God, I hate "low-info" neologism) women voters we've been hearing about. They generally get turned off when the boys start waving their pillocks at one another.

[Your linked Charlie Kraut article]
Romney’s response was … to quote Obama saying, ‘We dictate to other nations,’ and Romney said, ‘We do not dictate to other nations. We liberate them.’ And Obama was utterly speechless. … I thought Romney had the day. He looked presidential. The president did not.

That is because the "_Resident" gets a promotion every time someone lavishes "P" on him .... no, he isn't President of the United States, he's an imposter and a joke, a hothouse weed seeded in the gutter and transplanted to good soil.

He is, at the end of the day, our Elegabalus, a roue' and creature of the demimonde.

“That is because the “_Resident” gets a promotion every time someone lavishes “P” on him ...”

Obama gets a promotion with every passing day that he doesn’t smoke crack, father a child out of wedlock, or mug an elderly white person. The lib media is so happy to have a (half) black man that doesn’t engage in these behaviors...”clean, articulate, without a trace of a negro accent”.

My neighbor lady (85 y/o conservative) called me right after and said “Romney looked FATHERLY.”

That fits well and is a concise and accurate way of describing Romney's demeanor last night. I can see where it will be quite helpful in swaying the remaining undecideds.

By comparison, Zippo came across as insignificant and out of place. It was as if he had by accident wandered into a room full of adults and didn't know how to act.

That’s quite a paragraph of sharp insight, especially at the early hour.

Thanks for the kind words, but I was just channeling something Katty Kay of the BBC said after either the second debate or the VP debate (and someone else said it, too), when Charlie Rose had her on PBS's special debate coverage, about women not liking masculine tilting-contests.

Biden's and Obama's behavior, especially since it was obviously a put-up job, certainly rates its own article in Psychology Today, and maybe a companion article in Current Events along the lines of "Political Uses of Dysphoria Displays and Atavistic Primate Behavior". OR, as Chrissie Tingles put it at the time, "Ooogh oogh wugga Mugga urk urk urk!!"
