Talk about the sullen presage of a campaign’s decay. Something was wrong with President Obama last night, to judge by his performance. Was Ohio on his mind? An AP story says that the Obama campaign is now talking about a way to win without taking the state...

” An AP story says that the Obama campaign is now talking about a way to win without taking the state...”

Well, voter fraud has already started in Florida.

Obama was thinking about how nice the weather will be in Hawaii in January when compared to DC.

“But even if Obama loses Ohio, his campaign sees another pathway to the presidency by nailing New Hampshire, Iowa, Wisconsin, Nevada and Colorado.”

Bad news for BO!

He will lose Ohio, Colorado, and New Hampshire.

Iowa, Wisocnsin, and Nevada, may still be in play, but it won’t be enough, even with PA.

Something was wrong with President Obama last night, to judge by his performance.

I think Obama and his team fully expected the majority of the debate to center around Benghazi (so did I.) Based on that assumption, they put a lot of time and energy preparing for that issue, and came up with a game plan that they felt would crush Romney. Romney, however, employed a "rope-a-dope" strategy, staying completely away from the subject. As a result, Obama was growing more and more frustrated as the evening progressed, because the scenario he envisioned that would be Romney's undoing never materialized.

I think this is 100% true.

that’s the way things go when you stop and pray like Romney did prior to entering the debate. It’s hard to beat the strategy of Divine guidance!

I agree. Obama sat hunched over with staring, hooded eyes...just like a vulture. He was ready to pounce as soon as Romney started in.

His energy drained as he realized he was never going to be able to deliver what he had trained for.

Correct. The Chicago Mob had set another trap with Schieffer, the same way they had wit Crowley—but Mitt saw it coming. WELL PLAYED MITT.

Obama Propoganda ...

Good but I think you should change the other line as well. I suggest changing it to "A PLAN FOR MY JOB" since it certainly is not for the average person's job.

I don’t watch the debates, I read the transcripts so I concentrate on what they think.

Here’s my take

Romney has run a brilliant campaign. Last nights debate proved it to me. You can’t debate too strongly against the incumbent when it comes to foreign policy. The Incumbent has such a huge positional advantage on current matters.

Romney deftly avoided the pitfalls of debating the Incumbent by pre-debate feinting on Benghazi, then making the focus on traditional foreign policy such as military strength and America’s role in the world. It was about Romney making himself look reasonable and knowledgeable. HE even managed to pull OBama into a trap on Military strength — making him opposed to it.

Romney avoided the pitfalls of a town hall type debate by not going into social theories and not coming across as snotty or snobbish.

Romney’s chief criticism came during the first debate, on American Economic policy ... where Obama was the weakest, he made his strongest attacks. “You pick the losers” was the best line I’ve ever heard in a campaign.

Romney played rope a dope up until the first debate. He hung back, didn’t try and define himself, didn’t waste his money pre-debate while allowing Obama to wast all that air time prior. Now Obama is going to come up short money wise as the first debate wiped all the negatives away that OBama had spent considerable time and effort building up.

Sun Tsu would be proud.

Immortal word attributed to George W. Bush:

“Strategery.”

I watched the debate, and all I heard was Romney agreeing with Obama's foreign policies, and not hitting him on Benghazi. What's wrong with him, I yelled to a totally uncaring television set.

Then it dawned on me. Romney's strategy was nothing shor of political genius. Obama, of course was waiting with baited breath for the attack that never materialized. It reduced him to jeuvenile responses.("they have ships that airplanes land on...")

But he did something else. According to the MSM, Obama leads on foreign policy (gag). Romney leads on economic policy. So he neutralized foreign policy. If you liked Romney for economics, but was afraid that he would be a shoot-from-the-hip cowboy (that was how they would have portrayed him), you can rest easy. Romney would do what Obama has done. So that leaved the major difference between the two economics. How could the press criticize Romney's foreign policy if he said that he would basically do what Obama has done? They are playing on the battlefied of Romney's choosing.

Watching and reading would be like two completely different debates. A reader has no idea of nobama's body language, his stares at Romney, etc. You missed a damn good debate.

The God of the Mormons is the same as the Jewish and Christian GOD. The one TRUE God.

1) Oblunder is a Muslim = prays to false god
2) RATS are godless cretins = don’t pray
3) People who acknowledge and worship the true God have their prayers answered.

We’re gonna win this thing!

JESUS declared that where two or three were at in His name, not only would He be there, but what they asked for—in agreement—He would do. (Matthew 18:18-20).

Can I get an Amen!!!
