It is not even close: In a world poll of the U.S. presidential race, President Barack Obama is the clear favorite over Governor Mitt Romney. By a margin of 50-9 percent, Obama is favored in the poll of 21,797 respondents in 21 countries around the world.
"France was the most strongly pro-Obama (72%)," according to the BBC. The only country that would select Romney over Obama is Pakistan, though neither candidate gets more than 20 percent of the support in that country.
And the country where Romney polls the highest? Kenya. But even there, Romney's support does not even eclipse the 20 percent mark.
The poll was conducted by the BBC, and did not sample folks in America, where the polls show a much tighter race.
And here's a chart showing how Romney's support ranks:
When Obama loses, off to France he goes!
Why should THIS surprise anyone. Nations jealous of the US or which simply hate the US want the worst, weakest most anti-American possible president in office. And Barry is it!
Nobody except LSMRATs give a pigs butt for what the world thinks!
Only Americans, real Americans get to vote and decide on Nov 6 who is President.
That, alone, should tell you that he’s anti-American.
Romney is loved in Pakistan .. LOL!
Obviously it’s unfair that citizens of other countries are prevented from voting in American elections.
Obammy is going to be defeated as a result of transnational voter suppression tactics.
Polls are biased in the USA - does anyone think that foreign polls used by American MSM are going to be better - more likely, they will be multiples worse.
It also says for sure that the ruling class and media of the rest of the world is collectivist and socialist in their outlook.
I fully expect (within the next ten years) the Democratic Party will partner with the United Nations to let foreign countries have a say on who is elected President of the US.
Glad to see it. Nothing I like better than to see “the international community” squeal like stuck pigs when their preferred candidate in a U.S. presidential election gets defeated. Most other countries hate America almost as much as this country`s liberals do. They want to see us crushed and brought to our knees.
So, f**k `em. They don`t get a vote.
Yeah.. they probably oversample leftist-socialists by +50.
At the bottom of Romney’s list is Spain. It must be a coincidence that Spain will be counting our votes.
For the most part, people who live in the rest of the globe, don’t get to vote in US elections. There is, of course, a very small sliver of persons who manage to get in an illegal vote in those precincts where there is less than stringent scrutiny of who actually enters the voting booth, so we have a fair idea of how they PROBABLY voted.
However they do get to contribute to Obama's campaign.
When Romney wins immediately cut off all aid to these backward nations.
Romney will never cut it. Didn’t you hear what he said during the debate last night?
What do you expect from the French? They don’t call them Surrender Monkeys for nothing.
This was the same poll were J.F’n Kerry was winning by a landslide.
Really disgusted at Poland.
When Russia comes knocking, let’s see how well you get them to leave this time without the U.S. and the Pope.
They all envy America until the next natural or un-natural disaster hits!
(BLEEP)'em all! The long and the short and the tall! They ain't got no votes here unless they slip across our border and seek out some fool Democrat to get 'em registered to vote, foodstamps, welfare, free college and all the rest!!! (spit!)
When Russia comes knocking, lets see how well you get them to leave this time without the U.S. and the Pope.
Right. Hate them because they actually like Obama less than almost any other nation (except the one people think he was born in). Smart.
What it comes down to is this: if somebody asks the average who he or she favors in a foreign country's elections, the person they've heard of or the person they haven't, everybody who doesn't follow politics is going to say the name of the person they've already heard of.
That's the 60 or 70 percent who haven't a clue what's going on over here, and that's okay, because they don't vote in our elections anyway, but you're going to write them off because ordinary people who have enough trouble living their own lives don't follow all the details of our politics.
Just bear in mind that Polish troops are still fighting our war in Afghanistan as we speak.
Obamas Brother probably has as much right to vote as Obama has to be POTUS
PS Kenya was fun all 3 times I was there, understand there are more Muslims now so ...
Romney outpolls Obama by 2:1 in Israel. It was the same with McCain.
Those who want America weakened so their countries can be stronger in relative terms have spoken. Of course the Dem party will listen.
I have very strong opinions on the upcoming race in Burundi. Where is my poll?
I hope Romney takes names and kicks ass and gives the retards something to really hate us over...
They can have him. Please!
Does anyone else think definite “anti Christ” contender?
Then when 911 hit he could have than swept out the most liberal and wasteful government programs. But instead he just choked on pretzels and gave Letterman more comedy material along with Saturday Night Live. It was enough to gag a maggot. I get so tired of being disappointed in Republicans. They so seldom provide satisfying leadership. Reagan, of course was just about the lone exception.
