Obama Sics His Freaks On Romney: Allred, Sullivan, Wright…
Breitbart ^

Posted on 10/23/2012 7:23:21 PM PDT by chessplayer

Desperation is in the air, and The Chicago Machine's ugliness is just starting to get ginned up. They've already all but accused Romney of being a "felon" and of murdering Joe Soptic's wife, but now that the polls are moving against Obama – and the President's closing argument has been reduced to Big Bird, binders, and bayonets – President Obama's about launch his own personal freak show starring Jeremiah Wright, Gloria Allred, and Andrew Sullivan.

Today, things got improbably worse when the Daily Beast's Andrew Sullivan, who has reportedly been a guest of Obama's at the White House, launched into a punishingly long, bigoted, desperate anti-Mormon tirade against Romney that burns a warehouse full of strawmen and employs enough guilt-by-association to choke the ghost of Joe McCarthy:

Obama's infamous Trifecta of Freak-dom ended today with none other than -- you knew this was coming -- Gloria Allred:

"The Boston Globe is headed to court tomorrow morning for an emergency hearing in an attempt to obtain a court order to unseal the sworn testimony given by Mitt Romney in a prior court case and to lift a gag order so that the parties can speak about Romney. Gloria Allred will be in court representing one of the parties in the case," a source close to the situation tells RadarOnline.com.

I wonder what the chances are of Allred getting a liberal judge to release testimony.

If Allred is involved, it must involve some women who has come to Gloria to tell her sad story about how she was aggreived by Romney in some way.

I don’t think it’s about abortion or adoption counseling, because why would those even be in court? and if so, why the gag orders and sealed records?

Usually things are sealed when there is a monetary agreement in some kind of civil case. Again if Allred, you gotta put high odds on something sexual harassment.

Could be a fun day on Wednesday. I just hope Trump doesn’t have a dud.

Agreed. 100%.

I am confident nothing serious is there, but also have no doubt the media may become orgasmic about a nothing issue and use it to drown out all other news that truly is relevant to the election.

I have a feeling that Romney will honestly campaign through this.

In all honesty, it’s too bad Romney isn’t Jack Ryan, whom if you don’t know who the real-life Jack Ryan is, I would be happy to let you know.

Either way, Romney doesn’t have a bitter, attention-whoring Hollywood actress ex-wife like Jeri, and gets accused of things that make him look more innocent than me. Really, cutting some kids hair is a felony? I mean seriously, I thought myself a capable barber as a kid, and I almost rendered my little sister bald. Yes, I got in trouble, and yes, my sister and I have since grown up out of it, but in the end, Romney was accused by the MSM of doing something less sinister than what I did as a little kid, and the media has trouble finding the details of even the story. I know that it’s possible that Romney could be a criminal, but then again, I am not surprised if the whole case turns out to be a fake and Romney just moves on, sort of like those forged documents that proved that Bush never served in the national guard!

If the records are sealed and there’s a gag order, does Allred even know what’s in the record? I heard it’s from Family Court. There could be children involved and that could be why it’s sealed.

Allred knows because she is representing the other party in this court case. Otherwise how could Allred even be in court? So of course she knows, because her “client” told her. Attorney client privilege.

Could be right it has something to do with a minor. I hope it turns out to be a dud. Romney is surging to a big victory.

I hope about this time 2 weeks, we hear Fox news saying “Fox News projects Mitt Romney to be the 45th president of the US”.

Just now breaking from TMZ...

Mitt Romney was heavily involved in the extremely messy divorce of one of his key supporters ... and the Boston Globe is going to court first thing Wednesday morning in an attempt to unseal the court file as well as lift a gag order ... TMZ has learned. The divorce was between Staples co-founder Tom Stemberg and his first wife Maureen. We’re told the divorce battle lasted for years and was extremely ugly.Sources tell us Romney gave both a deposition in the divorce and testified in the trial. According to our sources, the Boston Globe got a tip that there was “juicy information about Romney” in the sealed documents.Romney, Stemberg and Maureen were all served papers by the Globe notifying them that the paper was trying to unseal the case and lift the gag order enforced on all parties.According to an article in the Boston Globe in 2005, Maureen received nearly 500,000 shares of Staples stock in the divorce ... but sold have her shares before the company went public. Our sources say Tom has filed papers opposing the Globe’s motion. Romney’s lawyers have not responded.Tom has been a major Romney supporter, even speaking for five minutes at the Republican National Convention. We’re told Gloria Allred represents someone connected with the divorce and we believe — though we have not confirmed it — that is Maureen. If the gag order is lifted, Maureen and others could freely talk about the divorce ... less than two weeks before the election.

I think Romney’s comment from the last debate is going to pop into people’s minds here. And I’m wondering if he didn’t plant it there for this very reason.

“Criticizing me, is not a policy Mr. President.”

Nope, potty dumps by Allred are not policies to get the nation back on track.

Cook County thug politics at its finest. “Unsealing” sealed court records worked for the sleazy bastard once before in Illinois (viz, Jack Ryan), now he’s going to try it at the national level. I hope he spends the rest of his miserable life in prison or exile. This is SO beneath the dignity of the Presidency. This alone should disqualify him from serving.

Getting court records unsealed is Obamas MO.

Getting juicy info on a temple recommend holding ex bishop is rather unlikely.

The two men were business partners, likely he had to testify about income received by his partner. I seriously doubt that there would be anything damming in it about Romney.

If Romney was THEIR bishop he could have know juicy details about his partner but that would still be privileged information that a judge would be unlikely to unseal. A man has a right to expect privacy to information told to his pastor and his lawyer.

1. Admit it. You never really expected Andrew Sullivan to support Romney, now did you? Getting smeared by that guy is a badge of honor. It’s something of a wonder he didn’t accuse Mitt of being Trig Palin’s father.

2. Gloria needs to have something good. I mean, better than Mitt being a witness in a divorce case.

3. Nobody throws Willie Brown under the bus. Nobody. That old guy has forgotten more about political infighting than Barry will ever, ever know.

Obama must really be steamed after that last debate because Romney’s part in the Stegman divorce info has been hashed and rehashed time and again on the internet. All this info seems pretty lame to me given it was and continued to be an extremely bitter divorce. Lots of “he said” and “she said.” I hope this isn’t going to be a sleazy attempt to put some kind of face on the alleged “War on Women.” Then again, it is the Obama campaign and Gloria Allred.
The former Mrs. Stemberg “who claims no health insurance due to what she claims are extensive medical conditions” lives in a $5,600 per month abode and had a generous (by my poor standards) settlement.

Romney testified at the time and rumor has it that he told the court that Stemberg’s Staples stock was over-valued in the court records. This was sometime in 1988. Of course in the Spring of 1989, the stock went public and Mrs. Stemberg had sold off half of her stock before then.

I don’t know when Romney was working with Wall Street to take the stock public, but, the Dems may be trying to say that Romney devalued what was the couple’s primary asset in a state that is 50/50 in divorce cases. In my opinion, Romney’s involvement in Staples was due to Stegman’s excellent sales skills and not any earth shattering financial data at the time.

But then, that’s what I want in a President is someone who can look at economical possibilities and see the possibilities.

There was also some story out there at one time that the Stegman son had approached Romney to help his mother. Stegman and his son were not on excellent terms after the divorce. I don’t see how that involves Romney.

I didn’t quote any links to this info because it has been all over the internet for a long time. You can find it easily on the internet. If this is it, what a desperation shot it is and the Rats must really be shaking in their shoes a couple of weeks prior to the election.
