Skip to comments.Benghazi and Obama: the media is trying to shore up this desperate administration

Here's one thing we canbe sure of about the Benghazi affair: almost everything we've been told since bythe mainstream media isa lie, invariably one designed to shore upthe creaky and desperate Obama administration. Consider how quickly the story was spun by Obama's amen corner inthe liberal MSM. It should, according to any objective news sense, havebeen a shocking tale of howa woefully unprotected ambassador was murdered in cold blood by Al Qaeda affiliates. Instead, it almost immediately became of all things an excuse to demonstrate why Mitt Romney was unfit tobe president. Here, for example, was NBC the day after.
Yesterday we noted that Mitt Romney, down in the polls after the convention, was throwing the kitchen sink at President Obama. Little did we know the kitchen sink would include on the anniversary of 9/11 one of the most over-the-top and (it turns out) incorrect attacks of the general-election campaign .
And here was CBS the day after. (Sounds to me like they have the same White House press officer dictate their stories for them )...
Er, with respect Steve Schmidt and all those other experty experts consulted by CBS surely what the American people REALLY want when their country is attacked is the truth. They'd also like to be assured that everything possible had been done to prevent the attack happening; that when the attack was taking place, everything possible was done to try to save the lives of the ambassador and his team and that in the aftermath, serious attempts would be made to punish those responsible, reprimand those culpable for any security lapses, and learn important lessons about why the attack happened and how to avoid further such disasters occurring in future. Little, if any of this seems to have been done.

I’ve never seen the buffoons in the MSM tap dance this fast. They’re wearing their @$$e$ out trying to defend their “messiah”. It’s quite hilarious. They’re trying to stomp out fires all over the place.
Just name this administration “Titanic”.
It’s clearly one of these ships that go under water.
The alleged "news" media never seem to understand...
THEY are the biggest losers, here.
Once caught in an historic lie (or a coverup), it's not possible for any person or agency to regain former stature.
It is the "news" media who are driving the contemporary news consumer to alternative outlets...
...and, they JUST DO NOT COMPREHEND THIS.
This is the most bizarre illustration of affirmative action one could imagine.
I was amazed to see the local Philly ABC channel carry a brief report tonight, attributed to AP no less, on the newly discovered e-mails showing that the White House knew during the first hour of the attack that it was probably terrorist - the story may be getting so big that they can’t ignore it any longer.....
I expected this to be HUGE all over the place seems they r still holding back..... When are they throwing in the towel on OLoser!
I remember one other being called the “Clintonic.”
Once it does cut loose....Romney’s got transcontinental coat tails...and they know it.
This thing will blow wide open when it becomes apparent that Mitt Romney will win. Then everyone participating in this coverup will know Obama won’t be there to protect them anymore. The avalanche of whistle-blowers emerging to cut deals will come faster than MSM can cover up.
“Just name this administration Titanic.”
Yes, but the big difference is that no one was looking forward to the sinking of the Titanic.
When the bad ship Obama goes under it will be time to rejoice.
According to one clip that was included in a post a couple of days ago, a news clip from Sept. 15, Romney was not yet being given security briefings. Maybe this was being done deliberately to keep him out of the loop? I think in the past the candidates were offered such briefings earlier than that, but I'm not sure.
Start with the fact that a recent survey revealed that 60% of US adults don’t trust the media (personally, I think it may be even higher).
Add to that the very obvious public contortions the media has gone through the past four years to save Obama’s bacon (can I say that about a Muslim?).
The US media is, at best, a parody of what the Founders envisioned.
