Defiance, OHIO .... Love the name ... a vote for Romney is defiance against the last 4 years.
It has been a reliable bellwether county for all its history for the nation and the state up until 2008. Let’s hope it assumes its previous role as a bellwether.
10K showing up with no promise of alternate entertainment? Maybe there really is something to this guy Willard...
N. Canton is a nice little town. They are going to get slammed with traffic for Mitt, is what I heard.
It’s the former home of Hoover Company.... the company labor destroyed.
Now that place is on its a$#!
Does anybody know what size crowds the dimbulb in the WH is getting? We never see any pictures of his audiences.
Check out brian ‘obie’s lap dog’ williams’ piece last night
Even he sadly admitted that Obozo has gone from 50,000 people rallies in 08 to.... Under 5000 this time around. Except on te larger college campuses where his emo robots cohabitate.. Then he pulls in 10-15
Still a far cry from 08 and that in itself is quite telling

10,000 for Romney - in Ohio - is awesome!! Please, OH, we're counting on you!!!
And THEN the maggot / dhimmie freak show couldn't even fill a basketball arena !
Small town Ohio, at that. No big towns within 50 miles.
I’ll be there! I live about a half hour from Defiance, and we’re leaving for the rally in a couple of hours to get in line. I’ll try to post up some pictures, if we get in. :)
Just heard a caller on Rush say she's heading for OH - from TX - to help knock on doors for Mitt.
Obama’s farewell tour.
On another note, the radio has Romney or Obama ads constantly. So this is a state very much in play.
The only large Obama rallys I have heard about have been at colleges and universities. Even then they seem to run 3-5k. Outside of that Sandra Fluck filled a parking spot with 10 people in NV recently.

In Richmond VA today, where the weather is beautiful, the news is that Obama drew a crowd of 15,000 according to the count by Obama's campaign, given to them by a Lt. in the Fire Dept. At Byrd Park, Obama calls election stark choice
Romney speaks here on Saturday. It is supposed to be raining badly. I am worried because Romney really needs a larger crowd here, too. But I doubt that, even if he draws a huge gathering, the Liberal media here will report it. I don't trust anyone in the media anymore to correctly estimate these crowds.
In defiance ( Ohio ) of the current regime... vote for Romney.
Oh well, i'd go attend this one if i have the time.
“Heard R & R had 10k people plus to a rally at Red Rocks...”
Yeah, but local CBS estimated 20,000 showed up, even though Red Rocks itself holds only 10,000. Events started at 6:30pm and doors opened at 4:30pm. One poster said they were already turning away ticket holders in line at 4:30pm. I thought about going but glad I didn’t. Traffic in and out of Redrocks is a nightmare, esp. with 20,0000 showing up for a 10,000 venue. I watched the good parts online the next day. (I could care less about Kid Rock, and the others there anyway.)
.
- I just watched a former CIA man speak to Neil Cavuto on Fox News Channel about Obama, Paneta, Hillary, etc. -
- “BAD” and “SILLY” people who just watched for hours (in “real time”) as Ambassador Stevens and three others were tortured and died and - and King Obama & his Court did nothing to help them or to rescue them -
.
Can you imagine General George Patton saying this to General Eisenhower when US Airbourne soldiers were encircled by the Germans and freezing:
“Golly Ike!
If I take our tankers to save them we might lose some of my men!
Let’s just wait and HOPE things improve and maybe even CHANGE for the better!
Anyone want another of my beers while we eat this delicious tender Kobi beef?”
.
Good post.
Well I saw on Twitter that 12000 showed up in Cleveland, but we are talking downtown Cleveland.. According to Jake Tapper..
What would Col. West have done? Not sit on his thumbs for 6 hours, that’s for sure.
Heck, if I were there, it wouldn’t have taken that long
Well of course there were 15,000.
;)

At least 12,000 people, probably more. This was one of the largest rallies ever held in NW Ohio. The population of Defiance is about 16,000, so we came close to doubling the size of the city for the evening. :)
Wonderful! Thanks for the pic.
Great Pic. Nothng says America more than a high school football field at dusk with the flag flying, the lights on and the sky as a backdrop. Great pic.
Romney is on a roll.......
Beautiful picture of the sky! Always a good omen.
Thanks for the great pic. Love how the scoreboard reads in the background!

fast forward to 14:25 if you want to skip Rob Portman and Governor Kasich.
Mitt had trouble starting because we kept cheering. :)
Red sky in the morning, sailors take warning!
Red skies at night, sailor’s delight!
Great pic and DELIGHT (from this sailor)!
Thank you and I love the name “Defiance!”
That’s so apropos for Romney who is in DEFIANCE against the socialist machine!
Watched the whole video.
Just awesome. Thanks.
The boyscout flag space shuttle part was amazing.
Thank you for the ‘on the ground’ picture and report! We don’t need the media when we have freepers like you!
‘Traffic in and out of Redrocks is a nightmare.’
I’ve been there when there was a handful of people. Great place.
Are you anywhere near Littleton? Have a daughter and family there. Another daughter is visiting there at the moment. Delightful (for Californians!) snow Thursday!
Strictly speaking, the Timken Company has always been a Canton concern. That is where THEIR Corporate HQ is. They are still a going concern but certainly could be doing better with the right person in the WH.
Just like he did back in March.
