YBOR CITY, Fla. With a new poll showing his lead among women voters is gone, a raspy President Obama rallied supporters in this battleground state Thursday morning after a red-eye flight from Nevada, warning voters that Republican Mitt Romney would repeal the health-care benefits of Obamacare.
As we saw again this week, I dont think any politician in Washington, most of whom are men, should be making health care decisions for women, Mr. Obama told supporters in an apparent reference to a Republican Senate candidates controversial comments about rape. Women should be making their own health care decisions. Thats why the health care law we passed put those choices in your hands. Thats where it belongs, and thats where it will stay as long as Im president.
As Mr. Obama arrived in Florida, he was greeted with a startling new poll showing that his advantage with women voters has evaporated. The AP/GfK survey found that Mr. Romney is now tied with the president among female voters; a month ago, Mr. Obama held a 16-point advantage with women.
Obama aides discredited the poll, as they have other surveys this month in which the results werent to their liking. White House Communications Director Dan Pfeiffer called the AP poll wrong and blamed it on too many polls.
Its hard to poll these days, because theres like 1,000 polling outfits calling every person in these battleground states, Mr. Pfeiffer told reporters traveling with the president. So when a media organization gets a poll that is so obviously wrong
then perhaps you want to throw it out instead of writing on it. If you look at the aggregate of all the polls, what you see is that the president has a very strong advantage with women.

Some threat that is. Would rather it be a promise.
I have seen FAR more Romney/Ryan stickers and signs than I have Obama/Biden in south Florida.
It’s actually quite surprising.
I’ve heard that Mitt is gonna sell all of us women into slavery.
/s
Where are you in South Fla?
Obama is still running around trying to shore up sagging support in voting blocs that went heavily for him in 2008. He’s thrown appealing to independents overboard. That’s a sure sign of a losing campaign as we all know.
I drove around town (Ruskin) yesterday. And I only saw 1 Obama sign and over a dozen Romney/Ryan signs.
I have had my Romney/Ryan sign on my driveway for 3 weeks now.
Nothing says “pathetic loser” like this kind of desperate pandering.
That is a bold face Lie! We Question the use of the word, "ALL" part of the statement.. It is well acceptted that if ALL is not true, WHO will be excluded??
Honestly, - his attitude that women are voting based only on access to free birth control and abortions is insulting. However, this is typical of the President who feels that, if the public doesn’t share his agenda, it is because he simply “Didn’t explain it clearly enough.” He genuinely believes that all voters are stupid and that he is wiser and smarter than those of us who actually work to pay his salary.
Shows his arrogrance and it will lead to a greater defeat for the Democrats then need be.
Much like Hilter would not allow his commanders to retreat.

Deerfield Beach, but I drive all over Broward County for my job.
Apparently there exists a gullible faction of ‘womyn’ whose lives do revolve around the contemplation of their crotches.
[I know...~weird~]
I’m from Hollyweird, Fl, but live near Ocala now...miniscule obama signs here.
0bambi’s in Florida?
Wow! Great!
Throw resources at a lost state.
If he can afford to take a day or so away from from more critical states, Ryan and his mom should cruise through Florida making a few campaign stops. She’s a cutie, a Florida resident, senior citizen, and can relate to so many of the Floridian.
That’s saying a lot, isn’t it? And the weirdest part? The older jewish snowbirds are doing plenty of complaining about Obama. Not sure if they are going to vote against him, but...
Cool!
They shot my grandaddy for that back in the 30s...maybe I’m genetically programmed.
[hubby says I drive like a ‘shiner, anyway]
