Early voting should be stopped in all states. The first job of congress must be to restore the integrity of our voting process. It is the first imperative.

“President Obama asked to show ID while voting”

He must have bought it from a guy on the street corner who also sells fake Rolexs.

Still over a week and 25% of the people have already voted, seriously anything can happen.
What are we doing?

He’s voting early because he knows that he’s spending election day packing.

I have never understood it either. When I began voting many, many years ago, everybody voted on the 1st Tuesday of November, in person, unless you were in the military or in the hospital. All voting took place in your local school or church and any place that sold liquor had to stay closed until after the polls closed. If you were over 18 it was just something you and everybody else over 18 did that day.

Schools no longer teach the meaning of freedom and what it cost our forefathers. As a result, many of the people voting are very ill informed. Others complain about how our country is run but they don’t take advantage of the opportunity to express their opinion through the ballot box.

Voting is one of the most important things we can do as an individual. One of my friends who ran for a local school board position lost her last election to a very liberal opponent by ONE vote. Two people living across the street from my friend didn’t vote because they thought her election was a sure thing. Every vote counts.

if you are unable to vote (whatever reason) you can vote by absently ballot if you request the ballot.

Unless, of course, you’re overseas military defending the country. I hate these people more than I can say

“Obama declined to reveal his choice for president,”

He one of a very few who knows the truth about this guy Obama, so it seems like a lock for Romney.

I think it’s past time for a constitutional case to be brought against all the early and absentee voting gimmicks out there.

I fail to see where any of that is allowed in the constitution. I drag my butt to the polls the day of every time. Before work, during luck, or after work.

Anyone can do it. If they put their mind to it.

Just 12 days before the election and in the midst of a whirlwind campaign tour, President Barack Obama touched down on his home turf Thursday — and made history.

Obama returned to Chicago’s Kenwood neighborhood and became the first president to vote early in person.

“I very much appreciate everybody here,” the president said at the early voting site. “It’s good to be home back in the neighborhood.”

But the most famous man in the world still had to prove who he was.

An early voting official looked at the president and smiled: “I need an I.D.”

Why hasn’t anyone mentioned that he had to have a poll worker go over to his booth to help him? The poll worker stayed there for most of the time it took him to cast his vote.

If I knew today’s politically correct word for “retard”, I use it here. But I don’t ... so I won’t.
