Are utility workers in the NE unionized?

I would imagine most of them are in unions. I am not sure about it. One thing i am sure of and that is that they continually bail out the non union sector down south when they have major hurricanes come though. All one has to do is look around and see all the out of state trucks in the non union(still in a way slave states) south to see the professional at work. Without these union people helping and in some cases for free the lights might still be off from Katrina (sarc).
