This is an increase of 4.2 million eligible voters in one 4 year cycle. This is not actual voters. Latinos actually turnout much less than blacks.

Statistics show the Latinos who actually vote, do mostly vote Dem. How many more Latino voters will there be in 2016, 2020?I would suggest that within 1 or 2 more election cycles, we will have seen our last Republican president.

If Romney wins this election cycle, I fully expect things to get better and he'll have a great chance for a 2016 reelection, but I'm hard pressed to believe we'll see any more Republican presidents.

That’s quite a hike in voter eligibility. My question is, is this “voter eligibility” measurement in age only? If so, it may include illegals.

I have to believe there are illegals voting, but the lions share are probably legal. My problem is not their race or ethnicity, but their voting habits that IMHO will eventually guarantee Dem control.

I live in California. I am confronted with this daily. Our cities here in LA County are becoming majority latino, the state legislature is growing with more Latino names each cycle. Onve thes politicians get into office they pander and push with out tax dollars a bigger helping hand to entitling more people from south of the border to come to California to build an even bigger majority. In fact it ismore nation building as I find many of my places of service catering, speaking and operating in spanish as i am not much more than a bystander in my own country. And I wonder as I look around how will any of these people ever feel about the principles of the Republican Party, the ideology of conservatism or the thought the individual is what Liberty is really about not the collective.

Our party, our ideology better find a way to teach and reach out or yes it will vanish as the backbone of our nation.

This is so phony its laughable---a transparent attempt by the La Raza types to intimidate vote-crazed candidates into making promises and giveaways to salivating latino groups lusting after more and more tax dollars.

SEVERAL SALIENT POINTS:

<><> Solomon Ortiz in Congress since 1983 repping a solid Mexican-centered district was defeated in 2010 by Repub conservative non-latino Blake Farenthold.

<><> Brooklyn Assemblyman Vito Lopez was forced out of the Dem party b/c he had groped several aides--and is probably headed for reelection defeat.

<><> In a stunning upset NY state pol Naomi Rivera from a prominent latino political family---loaded with tons of money---in a solid latino district---was ousted and a non-latino elected. Rivera was under a cloud---allegedly hired two latino boy toys — one for a tax-funded position and another for a job at a "charity" that grabbed govt funds. Four investigative agencies are probing Rivera’s hiring practices.

<><> NY state Sen Pedro Espada was tossed out of office---now he's been tried and convicted---going to jail for grabbing tax money from his community health non-profit.

<><> Ohaha tried this same latino trick for loser NJ Gov Corine---held secret rallies for latinos---a Peruvian PAC endorsed Corzine. State has 10-1 registered Dems-- Corzio spent $66 MILLION ----Obama/Biden in the state three times---Obama's ads ran relentlessly. Still Corzio lost to a Repub w/ a running mate who angered latinos b/c as sheriff she used the 293 (g) reg.

===============================================

That said---Mexico is pushing north at a furious pace---throwing its "pressure groups" over the border---salivating for reconquista---to takeover the SW--- financing and coaching their fifth column invasion of US borders.

The wailing and whining invaders' propaganda-----"just here for a better life, to do jobs Americanos won't do"---really "gets" bleeding heart sap-happy liberals.....and vote-crazed US politicians.

=============================================

The latino criminal underworld on US soil has more criminal enterprises than you can shake a stick at.

<><>ICE's "documents and benefits fraud taskforce" found a common practice among "impoverished" illegals is to buy several faked identities for several thousand dollars each----the illegal then votes and rides the US gravy train under several names.

<><> Jose Madrigal---the Washington staterapist---had some 30 identities. And probably voted and collected US benefits under every single identity.

<><>June 26, 2010 An illegal using multiple identities was sentenced to prison and ordered to pay back $3 million in fraudulently obtained unemploymet compensation. Manuel Mejia Ordonez, got eight years for conspiracy to commit mail fraud........and identity theft.

<><> Hilderberto Salinas sold state drivers' licenses issued out of the state’s Motor Vehicle Agency in NJ to illegals with multiple identities who did not have the necessary id's....among 40 people who participated in the widespread ring. "Impoverished" illegals paid $2,500 to $7,000 apiece for the licenses---which allows them to vote.

how many of these “registered Hispanics” are actually citizens of the United States of America- the USA?

I guess that’s always the question, isn’t it?

I have nothing against Latinos. Some of my best friends are Latinos. I am, however, strongly against people who are in this country illegally.

Immigration Reform to the Dems is total amnesty and stay the course. Immigration reform for the Repubs is to develop an enforcible border control policy and then...talk about the folks who are alrady here illegally..perhpas giving them some sort of a path to citizenship...perhaps. I know what I just said makes complete sense to all Repubs and even half of the Dems but, I have a friend at work that calls this radical.

Good g-d, we’ve got to beat this president or this country is gone.....

This is how our country was destroyed. Importing millions of illegals who have millions of kids, most of whom want government programs and our money.

The Republicans (both Bushes and Reagan) did this as much as the Demonrats.

National Suicide. Death by illegal immigration.

Here’s hoping our high profile conservative latino leaders can be influential and bring the message of conservatism to enlighten more latinos away from the socialist left. Getting the divisive fraud out of office is job #1 at this point.

Does “eligible” = registered? Either way I’d be very surprised if even a fraction of these folks actually vote.

If voterID was in effect and not torpedoed by Obama/Holder, this number would fall back to the prior four year level. Why, because illegals and convicted felons should not be voting.

Even were it to happen, that situation cannot last. Eventually the left will run out of Other People's Money, and the welfare state will cease.

POLITICAL STINKBOMB Vote-crazed politicians are matching in lockstep to the dictates of the Third World---on their knees, all puckered up, sucking up to underwriters of the US invasion---an invasion designed to infiltrate the US political system, and rig the system to act as a pressure group and voting bloc. The goal: foreign aid billions to these decrepit countries.

CONNECT THE DOTS Clearly, Mexico is pushing North at a furious pace. MEXICO is the 10th richest nation on Earth, with state-owned oil and minerals monopolies, state-owned tourist beaches, where the world's richest man lives. Federales pocket $25 billion annually in "remittances" from illegal invaders riding the US gravy train. The racist Mexican govt rids itself of its poorest to mooch off US taxpayers. Mexico and the Third World are financing the invasion of ne'er do wells over the border---ridding itself of its criminals and lowlifes who are cued to suck-up US tax dollars under several identities. And the vote-crazed pols cater to these parasites.

ALL FOR THEM--NONE FOR YOU Where do "impoverished" illegals get several thousand $$$ to buy mutiple fake ID's? They are cashing-in bigtime on govt freebies----sucking-off struggling taxpayers.

=========================================================

REFERENCE Mexico, South and Cenral America are financing the latino invaion of America---these are the Third World "voting blocs". Greedy, calculated honchos know vote-crazed US politicians will do anything to get votes.....including voting massive foreign aid to Third World hellholes.

Wiki: The Mérida Initiative (also called Plan Mexico by critics) is a security cooperation agreement between the United States and the government of Mexico and the countries of Central America, with the declared aim of combating the threats of drug trafficking, transnational organized crime and money laundering. The monetary assistance includes training, equipment and intelligence.

In seeking partnership with the United States, Mexican officials point out that the illicit drug trade is a shared problem in need of a shared solution, and remark that most of the financing for the Mexican traffickers comes from American drug consumers. U.S. law enforcement officials estimate that $12-15 billion per year flows from the United States to the Mexican traffickers, and that is just in cash, i.e., not including the money sent by wire transfers.

The U.S. Congress passed legislation in late June 2008 to provide Mexico with $400 million and Central American countries with $65 million that year for the Mérida Initiative. The initiative was announced on 22 October 2007 and signed into law on June 30, 2008.

POINTS TO PONDER Dem keynoter, San Antonio Mayor Juan Castro, genially introduced his mother at the Democrat convention.

Maria “Rosie” Castro is a busy activist-—a radical ethnocentric anti-assimilationist, a key figure in the activities of “La Raza.”

LA RAZA STUDIES TOSSED OUT OF ARIZONA SCHOOLS La Raza Studies does not even try to sugar-coat its anti-America agenda and its bloodthirsty plans to kill off Americans: Raza Studies textbook “Occupied America,” by Rodolfo Acuña, includes a violent and blood-curdling speech given by university professor Jose Angel Gutierrez: “We have got to eliminate the gringo, and what I mean by that is, if the worst comes to the worst, we have got to kill him,” (pg. 323).

The following is taken directly from La Raza’s Occupied America (pg. 167): “.......execute all white males over age 16,” (AKA the Plan of San Diego).

America-hating Raza Studies teach (1) violence, (2) undermining US ntl security, and, (3) the need for Mexico to “re-take seven states in the Southwest...in order to make the SW a Chicano nation. “

SCHOOL BOARD NUT CASES Adelita Grijalva is the woman on the Arizona school board pimping La Raza indoctrination programs in Tuscon schools. Adelita is all up in arms about Raza Studies getting tossed via the AZ state legislature’s action...she is the daughter of Raul Grijalva (D-AZ-7) who was just narrowly re-elected to our US Congress. Cong Raul Grijalva is one of Mexico’s most productive and loyal Fifth Column in the US Congress....aiding and abetting the latino criminal underworld, colluding to take back the SW, and loot and pillage the US treasury.

God only knows what Juan Castro and Mamasita Castro are doing with San Antonio govt money. La Raza is a race baiting organization funded with our tax dollars...... an organized pressure group which lines up illgal latino voters for vote-crazed US politicians .....agitating for more Third World immigration, and endless US tax-funded social services to illegals.

Will they vote with the homosexuals for Obama, or with the straights for Romney? I fear there are a lot of gay Hispanics who will vote for Obama no matter how much damage he does to this country.

I am, of course, working off of the premise that only gays and wannabe gays will vote for Obama. They are more than his base. They are who he is, and who he represents. Where do Hispanics stand?

Stuff like we will never see one again etc. is hyberbolic nonsense.

This “Myth of the Latino Voter” is getting nauseating...and is brought up only to push Illegal Alien Amnesty

Hispanics still have low turnout...and are not that much a force in elections contrary to conventional wisdom. Even in areas where Hispanics are a majority, GOP Anglos still win elections

I argued your fear in 2005 and got a one year suspension from here back when being against Bush and his amnesty was dicey here if you fought with the wrong harpies...most of whom are now anti freeping or back under new names

freepers just don’t always keep up and are on occasion drawn to PC sentiment same as the general public...especially younger freepers and those in homogeneous white areas

the rise of non whites here bodes bad...very very very bad...with only a few minor exceptions

the nation goes the way the whites vote but that is diminishing

latinos will be the determiner as number two in strength

and given how they vote and have since the beginning and how immigrants in general today...legal or not vote overwhelmingly for entitlements...look it up folks

and younger whites are taught to be guilty about their skin color and accept the blame of America and the west as one big crime against browns, blacks, women and non Christians

it paints an awful picture...and we let it happen...both parties

The Dems would have no borders...they see votes

The GOP are PC on this and stuck on stupid.

Only cure...seal borders, deport illegals, work on latinos, and whites...decent whites....HAVE A BUTTLOAD OF BABIES LIKE THEY USED TO

blacks are irrelevant...not enough to matter and a lost cause

Orientals and Asians...for the most part disappoint me..they know better but the anti white trap lures them in for the special victimhood elixir

it just sux pardner and I have seen it all come down in just my half century of life

our success and power post WWII killed us basically

and something cataclysmic is about all that will save us...or a Christian revival...not likely

Though it remains unclear whether the record-breaking 24 million eligible Latino voters will boost overall election turnout,

They don't say how the number of 'eligible' voters is determined. It is generally accepted that around 1/3 of the Latinos in the US are here illegally, which probably explains why the actual Latino turnout is always well below that of other ethnic groups.

Looks like they could come up with some reasonable estimate of registered Latino voters rather than using the much murkier 'eligible' voters.
