Poll: Akin, McCaskill locked in statistical dead heat
KMOV ^

Posted on 10/26/2012 8:10:05 PM PDT by Perdogg

A new poll shows the Missouri Senate race is too close to predict a winner.

The News 4, St. Louis Post-Dispatch and Kansas City Star poll shows Senator Claire McCaskill with a 2 percent lead over Congressman Todd Akin, at 45 and 43 percent, respectively.

With a margin of error at plus or minus four points, and eight percent still undecided, the two remain in a statistical dead heat.

Here’s what claire McCaskill does when law abiding citizens exercise their right to Free Speech and right to assemble peacefully. We were peacefully protesting Claire McCaskill’s support of Obamacare outside her office. They called the police........

Local Tea Party patriots held an anti-Obama Care protest at Missouri Senator Claire McCaskill’s district office in St. Louis. The protest was organized by Americans for Prosperity and the St. Louis Tea Party Coalition.

This somber video was taken after we respectfully complied and moved to the other side of the street. Kind of scary, isn’t it? We aren’t criminals.....

Why does Delhi Rebel troll all the Akin posts? does he have a personal vendetta against Todd Akin? he doesn't live in MO but has been insulting the anti McCaskill folks incessantly.
IMO the Missouri senate race is a must win. Evidently, DR wants McCaskill to win.

Prove it beyond a shadow of a doubt. You can't. O ye of little faith.

LOL. Then prove me wrong beyond a shadow of a doubt, oh ye of excessive faith. You can't. I can't. The proof won't come until a week from Tuesday. Then we can have this discussion again.

Yes, Rasmussen is wrong about Romney; it’s going to be much worse for Obama than what Rasmussen shows!

I suppose that also means that Akin could lose by more than the 8 points Rasmussen has him down. What with him underpolling and all.

One way or the other this will be settled a week from Tuesday.

This was a gimme for Republicans. If we lose there we have a breathtakingly...a jawdroppingly...foolish candidate to blame, particularly given that Romney will carry the state easily.

No, Akin is a GOOD, CONSERVATIVE candidate!

The were all good conservative candidates. And Akin won out. Now we're finding out exactly why McCaskill wanted to run against him in the first place.

Had the GOP continued to support Akin after his ill-informed comment, he would still be leading McCaskill by a mile.

Let's place blame where blame is due, shall we? If Akin hadn't made his foolish and uninformed comment to begin with then the GOP leadership wouldn't have seen the need to distance themselves from him. The McCaskill would have had to limp along with the remaining Akin comments that are making up the bulk of her ads.

This was a winnable seat. It looks like Akin is going to snatch defeat from the jaws of victory. The blame for that doesn't lie with me or the national GOP. It lies with Todd Akin.

If Akin loses this one, according to local radio pollsters, it will be due to the defection of Republican suburban soccer moms to the leave blank option or McCaskill — not Independent women but Republican women.

Is there anything that you would like to say to them to get them to vote the right way and put Akin into that office???

GO AKIN!

He has a good chance, given MO is going for Romney/Ryan!

The Missouri Republican Party is for Akin.......

Countdown to Victory
October 26, 2012: 11 days until the election
National debt: $16.206 trillion
• Newt Gingrich to campaign with Todd Akin
• More revelations of McCaskill’s corruption

Newt Gingrich to campaign with Todd Akin: On Wednesday, October 31, Newt Gingrich will hold a “Show Me Courage Rally” with Todd Akin in Kansas City. The rally, which is open to the public, will take place at 8:15 AM at Union Station (under the clock), 30 W Pershing Rd #400. For more information, visit www.akin.org/events.

More revelations of McCaskill’s corruption: Over the past several weeks, Claire McCaskill has been hit with revelations that her low-income housing empire received $1 million in stimulus dollars and nearly $40 million in taxpayer subsidies since she took office. A whistle-blower has also come forward and alleged that McCaskill’s husband was cutting business deals in the Senate Dining Room. This week, the National Legal and Policy Center uncovered another $20 million in stimulus funds that have benefited McCaskill’s network of companies. At issue are two new stimulus-created programs, TCAP and TCR, which created new investment opportunities for McCaskill’s husband. Read more.

There is nothing at all arrogant about Todd Akin. He is a humble man who speaks the truth.

Two groups that Akin has really managed to alienate. His comments on rape, his attacks on student loans, his opposition to minimum wage, all have cost him with working women and women in general.

Is there anything that you would like to say to them to get them to vote the right way and put Akin into that office???

What can I say that would overcome what Akin has already said?

So I just wrote another check to the Akin campaign.

He can certainly use the money. McCaskill and her supporters are outspending him by a considerable margin on TV.

“Blame me for it if it makes you feel better but the responsibility for this loss lies with Todd Akin.”

No, much of the blame lies with your ilk, the RNC, and the GOPe that have no principle.

IF you had ANY class, you would just stay silent on the issue.
