Where is Romney on Libya???? VANITY

With all the non-left-wing media (Fox, radio, web) screaming from the roof tops about the Libya massacre, where the heck is Romney? Forget the campaign, as a prominent American with a huge audience, doesn't he have the moral responsibility to demand answers?!

Forget the campaign

Romney's job right now is to get elected president. That's it. People seem to think that he needs to get Obama to have some sort of Jack Nicholson "You can't handle the truth" meltdown in order to be elected. No, he doesn't. He needs to be calm, competent and presidential, especially at a time when the current administration looks like amateurs, and are already in the process of imploding. He doesn't need Trump, he doesn't need birth certificates, he doesn't need to push anyone on Libya.

The truth will come out someday, and it will come out faster if Romney wins.

As I have said, Romney was brilliant in this decision. Obama has used every venue, including the second debate, to lie about Benghazi. Obama was primed with lies and excuses and eager to use the third debate as another opportunity. Romney took it away from him.

He will take care of it after he is elected. Obama cannot eliminate the people who want the truth to come out. They will sing like birds.

You are confused.

Neither Romney or anyone else has the moral responsibility to demand answers.

Obama shoulders all of the moral responsibility , as the President and the man responsible for sending our men to Libya, to tell the truth and provide answers to the American people.

Yep, you took the words out of my brain and put them down.

By saying nothing it actually increases the intrigue.

I think Romney is being very smart and letting Obama and his underlings rip each other to shreds over who gets the blame.

If Romney says anything, then THAT becomes the story. Let his advisors poke and prod.

All of these twisted tales and lies lead directly to Obama.

Funny how this is reaching critical mass with only a few days to go before the election. Had Obama told the truth on 9/11, NONE of this would be happening. His lying, and throwing his followers under the bus is coming back to bite him, hard.

0bama’s going down in flames on his own. Best for Romney to steer clear on this.

Plus, Romney has intel now as he’s the nominee. He knows more than we do. 0bama, in my dreams, will end up in Club Fed for allowing four Americans to be slaughtered.

Hey Gator113,
Now that makes sense! It’s his timeline (which sure doesn’t sync with mint). But I sure hope this gets elevated

I’m guessing Romney validly thinks that if he jumps into this fray the media will skewer him.

There's that, but more important why take the spotlight off The Kenyan? In all likelihood Axelrod & Company are sweating bullets hoping Mitt speaks. Ain't gonna happen.

If Romney starts making this an issue on the trail, it probably means his polls are not good. He has run a smart and disciplined campaign.

I wouldn’t be surprised to see a PAC run some ad late next week.

Never interfere with your enemy when he is destroying himself.

Vince,
Thanks for talking me down!! This whole Libya massacre just makes me furious. But I do see the need for clearer heads now. I do hope that the criminals who covered this up will be uncovered ASAP

you need a bag of clues?

This is imploding all around bozo's ears. It's about HIM.

It's not up to Romney. It's up to the media, the elected officials, and WE - like in YOU - to be screaming from the housetops. FOX is covering this almost 24/7 and - they are shining a bright light on it...blow by blow. There are a lot of people up high that do NOT want to take the fall for this debacle - and they are starting to leak - and point fingers.

There are some that will not go down with the ship - it's the “rat way.”

Romney is a candidate - not the president or even a congressman. For him to jump in - bozo and gang and media would LOVE it - they'd turn on a dime and make it all about him using this tragedy for politics. Adn with the short time to the elction - bozo would have cover from answering anything.

What part of that don't you get?

What is the saying about when your enemy is destroying himself, don't get in the way?.

Actually, Romney should answer: "I need to wait until after I'm elected President before I address this debacle. Now is not the time."

Rub it in REAL good. But some subtlety.

As of now, the MSM are burying the Libya story. Only FOX is covering it aggressively. The MSM are focusing on the Hurricane and 2% GDP growth as a sign of recovery! That Hurricane should provide them at least 7 days of cover, then the unemployment report will appear next Friday showing a number hovering around 7.3%. The script has been written to best protect the Marxist.

I seriously can't believe that you don't know what trolling is, considering your OP and your ability to post vanities.

Here's your answer. Get up and look in the mirror. There is a troll, someone posting as something they're not and trying to stir up angst.

Now go eat a cookie.

We have corrupt media, emasculated Republicans, and a calculating presidential candidate (even if he’s calculating correctly this one time.) We’ll be hearing crickets next week, I expect. Unless you can get Nina Totenberg and the New York Times excited, a story goes nowhere, even if it is the sinking of the Titanic or the Assassination of the Archduke Ferdinand.

Here’s a better question. What in the world do CNN, NBC, ABC, etc pay their international correspondents for? they send these “journalists” or “reporters” to be in places like Libya and then something huge like this happens and those journalist reporter types have got nothing to say about it!

what a waste of money for Time Warner paying those people for just basically goofing off apparently. good thing these media corps are not publicly traded because shareholders would not like their money being wasted.
