With all the non-left-wing media (Fox, radio, web) screaming from the roof tops about the Libya massacre, where the heck is Romney? Forget the campaign, as a prominent American with a huge audience, doesn't he have the moral responsibility to demand answers?!

Yep.

I did hear that Romney went to Home Deficit and bought personalized shovels for the current admin. to use in this debacle. ;)

Imploding? Are you kidding? Obama is washing all this off like water on ducks back. FoxNews is doing this 24/7 but the rest of the MSM electronic and print media are completing ignoring it all. However, if Romney brings this up at least in an ad this cannot be ignored. Obama will be forced to respond.

We as American Citizens demand answers. Romney works for us. Obama works for the Caliphate.

Romney is staying clear while the Admin slowly drowns in the Libya debacle. I think that is wise at this point.

I agree. This is Obomas problem. Romney had nothing to do with those deaths.

See Post 2. On the mark.

Jennifer Griffin of FOX broke the story to the public this morning, but it was no secret in certain circles.

Including the Romney campaign.

Now we know why he didn’t pin Obama with it during the debate Monday night. Much more effective this way.

Ulsterman’s “White House Insider” post on Wednesday said, “Just keep watching for the Benghazi roll out over the next 48. Should damage Obama big time.”

Here we are, 48 hours later.

I agree. I think Obozo was disappointed that Romney didn’t bring it up in the debate. I’m sure he was ready to accuse him of politicizing A tragedy and that would have been the storyline.

Obama is imploding before our eyes..Romney doesn’t have to say a word, just sit back and watch the destruction of Barack Obama take place.

I get all that too. But, I believe he feels he doesn’t need to waste political fuel on a fire that seems to be burning unpredictably on its own. Lessens the risk of being burned inadvertently.

He would be a fool to get involved in a story that is changing and growing every hour. He is not a reporter and he is not a government official. As a candidate for POTUS just over a week from the election anything he says will turn the whole story into a political circus.

We have loads of press if they would do their jobs. We have hired loads of Congress Critters to take responsibility for oversight of the Executive Branch if they would just do their jobs.

Romney should stay out of the King Obama crash. It is more important to have him get the Presidency than take any chance of repeating information that might be faulty.

He has wisely and correctly assessed that he needs to do utterly nothing in this situation. This is what impresses me most about Romney, for whom I have the typical concerns of most conservatives as to his positions. His moves are simple, yet calculated, and notably cognizant of time and timespans. They accrue to his benefit over time. This is something that cannot be taught; the doer of such accrual items either has this skill or they do not. Contrast this with 0bama et al; their moves are all reactionary, they come out the day after the debates with this or that zinger and then a few days later, when their last little piece of spaghetti-on-the-wall hasn’t stuck, they’re on to something else. They throw out this “war on women” thing and while it’s sort of grabby in the immediate sense, ten days later it’s another piece of goofballism. This latest Dunham ad is the latest example, and it is really, really inane. Even the DREAM act, which initially was thought to be a masterstroke insofar as gathering the illegal votes (yes, they exist) and the Hispanic vote, has turned at least partially problematical. Imagine these a**holes, now the intended audience is saying it didn’t go far enough.

Romney has absolutely nothing to gain criticizing Benghazi. Nothing. The debacle stands completely on its own as a colossal piece of fecklessness and incompetence. If he jumps on it, he’s dissing foreign policy from the campaign trail, generally frowned upon. Even more so when lives have been lost. The swingable voters care about the economy and nothing else. In the debate #3, he already crafted an image of a foreign policy based upon internal US economic strength, and he just needs to stick with that theme. Benghazi is a very high-level gift for Romney, and the timing couldn’t be better. It will work its own voodoo upon those who care enough about it to find out what occurred.

The core notion is that Romney has to spend time and effort on that which will gather him votes, and that’s all there is to it. There are plenty of Congressional types, the Darrel Issas if you will, that will demand the answers.

Forunately, Benghazi is getting stinkier and stinkier by the day. All by itself. As to your question of whether Romney has an obligation to comment...I believe he has already done so. The truth is that he was discussing events in Cairo, not Libya. Meanwhile, he collected a thrashing for speaking out so early, even though he was absolutely right on the money. So...the question is, why should he show up & stand in line for a beating?

Thanks for talking me down!!

You're welcome. Instead of waiting for Romney to do something, you can take charge and do something yourself if you want. Go find some other websites, say news websites from swing states, like KUSA'a site in denver, or denverpost.com. Post your concerns there, ask them to keep questioning the president. There are people who can be reached on those sites. You may not be able to convert a democrat, but you may be able to get a few to stay home.

That would be a more productive use of your time than worrying.

“He would be a fool to get involved in a story that is changing...”

Absolutely.

I really think that at some point the MSM are going to be forced to report on this. They may not be pressed yet because the time is not right.

And sadly, a lot of the voting public doesn’t care or realize the significance. I mean, after all, it’s not serious like Watergate. /s

After the election, no matter who wins, the MSM will have to explain to the people why they didn't cover this when the information came out. As we are reading and seeing on Fox News. Saying "but but but Romney didn't say anything so we couldn't" just won't cut it then.

This is going to bring down the Dem Party and with a little help from us this may be the leverage we need to take down the MSM.

If he says anything, the media will instantly shift to ‘how dare he politicize this’ mode and the story becomes Romney’s ‘mistake’ instead of Obama’s gross dereliction of duty.

Forget the campaign?

Seriously?

The campaign is the only thing that can remove this regime from power - if you really want to do something other than feel good.

Congrats on the Nutso Post of The Week.

In reality, I don't think the MSM has been honest in their reporting. I seriously doubt that they ever were.

It seems there are two things in play..

The creation of alternate media that exposes their lies and partisanship. It has also eroded their audience to the point of near bankruptcy in many cases.

The MSM has been so blatant with their tactics since 2008 even a two year old can see it. They are either over confidant or desperate.
