The Navy said Saturday it is replacing the admiral in command of an aircraft carrier strike group in the Middle East, pending the outcome of an internal investigation into undisclosed allegations of inappropriate judgment.
Rear Adm. Charles M. Gaouette is being sent back to the USS John C. Stennis' home port at Bremerton, Wash., in what the Navy called a temporary reassignment. The Navy said he is not formally relieved of his command of the Stennis strike group but will be replaced by Rear Adm. Troy M. Shoemaker, who will assume command until the investigation is completed.
It is highly unusual for the Navy to replace a carrier strike group commander during its deployment.

News also just out Gen. Ham (Africom) getting replaced.
The administration may have found their scapegoat.
FYI
Whatever ... too late ... 4 men are dead ... murdered.
If they get ANY punishment ... the zero needs to be in chains ..
FIRST !!!
I heard a story today from someone inside the military that I trust entirely. The story was in reference to General Ham that Panetta referenced in the quote below.
quote:
“(The) basic principle is that you don’t deploy forces into harm’s way without knowing what’s going on; without having some real-time information about what’s taking place,” Panetta told Pentagon reporters. “And as a result of not having that kind of information, the commander who was on the ground in that area, Gen. Ham, Gen. Dempsey and I felt very strongly that we could not put forces at risk in that situation.”
The information I heard today was that General Ham as head of Africom received the same e-mails the White House received requesting help/support as the attack was taking place. General Ham immediately had a rapid response unit ready and communicated to the Pentagon that he had a unit ready.
General Ham then received the order to stand down. His response was to screw it, he was going to help anyhow. Within 30 seconds to a minute after making the move to respond, his second in command apprehended General Ham and told him that he was now relieved of his command.
Shit just got real...
Civilian control of the military is way over rated.
Scapegoats for the greater good - to take the blame that Panetta, the 'Beast and most of all, der 0berFurhrer Hussein 0bama, should be answering to!
Possibly not based upon this paragraph:
“The Stennis group deployed from Bremerton in late August and had entered the Navy 5th Fleet’s area of operations in the Middle East on Oct. 17 after sailing across the Pacific. The Stennis made port visits in Thailand and Malaysia on its way to the Middle East.”
No mention if it is in the Med or somewhere near the Persian Gulf, which is also the Middle East
Perhaps a sign that honorable military men are disagreeing with
their ‘political officers’ and are getting sacked for that.
Maybe this is the same story. Replacement of Ham.

The former SEALS went anyway, and Ham was ready to go in.
Next, we’ll the USAF and USMC taking heat, I suppose.
After all, these top commanders can’t be killed right NOW...must wait until after the election and the ‘flexibility.’
If 0bama wins, it is going to be.....
If 0bama loses, everyone had better be ready because it will be too late.
Grooming the scapegoat most likely. The buck rolls downhill.
This means that 0bama DID give the order to stand down.
It is highly unusual for the Navy to replace a carrier strike group commander during its deployment.
I'm stealing it!
With my blessing.
:-)
“She’s gonna blow!” I just found this, it rings true.
Interesting Rumor Concerning General Carter Ham and Stand Down Order (Posted on 10/26/12 at 9:45 p.m.)

The story continues that now General Rodiguez would take General Ham’s place as the head of Africon.
I found this story when I got home after hearing this story.
quote:
General Rodigues Nominated as Head of Africon
As I was typing this I heard John Bolton on Greta say that there are conflicting reports of General Ham’s comments on this tragedy and why a rapid response unit was not deployed. Bolton says someone needs to find out what Ham was saying on 9/11/12.
Interesting to say the least.
There are a lot of Benghazi “leaks” comming from somewhere and it usually comes from someone at a lower level that’s in the chain of knowledge. The first thing the top of the chain politician does is go after those areas they suspect are challanging their decisions.
Except that it's in the Constitution.
Remember...the “O” said “The buck stops with YOU”....(NOT “here”)
How much data does it take to put aircraft over the target area? The deliveries these CIA operatives would have wanted could have been achieved with little or no risk to the pilots.

Wow, he put the official rubber stamp on the “study” to determine whether gays should serve in the military, then when the last head of africom was relieved they sent him to be his replacement, and now he’s relieved. Shows how loyalty only goes one way.
Except, of course, when Americans in Benghazi call for fire support.
Does zero really think that high ranking, deployed (as opposed to Pentagon brass like powell) officers are going to take the heat for zero’s and clinton’s mismanagement???
“Night Of The Long Knives?” Euphemistically speaking that is.
General Ham is a good ma. I have no problem believing this story.

The Zero is on a purgapalooza ala Joseph Stalin?
But it also means 0bama was cool about Stevens being dead.
What did Stevens know?
Wow - I totally believe that! Lets hope he doesn’t get invited to a meeting @ Ft. Marcy Park
I’ve been warning about the coming military purge a-la Stalin 1933 for some time now.
So far we have seen many field grade officers driven out, prematurely retired, or jailed for lack of fidelity to the Muslim in charge.
Gen. Ham was probably looking down the barrel of a 9mm knowing what would happen if he tried to resist - the bloodletting phase of the PURGE would have begun.
It has come so close during this incident that I can’t imagine that the mass murdering stage won’t soon begin.
I wonder how many officers might have actually shot each other over the Bengazi debacle, and we will never know about it?
I suspect that you are about to see targeted assassinations of Officers whose loyalty to Obungo is questioned. They will make it look like “accidents” or “hostile fire” at first; expect a lot of mysterious plane crashes with field grade officers on board, just like the plane carrying all of those absentee ballots for the troops.
If significant units turn on their PC hack officers and mutiny, as some apparently came all too close to doing this time, hell will lay a big fat juicy egg and the Juma will dance and yodel “Allah Achubaw” as the US military destroys itself all around them.
Either way, Obama is assuring himself that a coup will not happen, and the American sheeple will remain at his and his mercenary thug DHS brownshirt’s mercy as they deploy to enforce martial law...
And don’t count on much of that.
...but frankly you are the best I have ...
That doesn't sound like a ringing endorsement.
Should have read Gaouette instead of Shoemaker in above post.
So we are blaming the military for Benghazi? This just gets worse and worse. God help us all.

More likely a sign that the admiral was messing around with a female subordinate.
I do know that at least 50% of our nuclear submarine commanders have slowly been replaced over the last 4 years by those who are loyal to 0bama.
I believe the Stennis is in the Arabian Sea. At the time of the Benghazi event, there were no carriers in the Mediterranean.
Starting to remind me of the movie 'Seven Days in May' that I saw again last night.
Bump for later.
Mflr
Just what I was thinking.
Either that, or there’s resistance against Zero’s possible wag-the-dog strike in the Middle East.
I’m suspicious he had a problem with his zipper.

Civilian control is fine as it has always been. But civilian OPERATIONAL control has been an unmitigated disaster.
The examples are endless. White House selection of the actual flight routes, and of when and how to turn off target decimated the B-52s in Linebacker II. It got many men killed and almost resulted in mutiny to stop the insanity.
Now almost all missions, SEALS with the Mersk Alabama crew rescue, the mission to get Osama, Blackhawk down, etc etc all have something in common. Direct instant communications and shoddy decision making coming from the White House.
While civilians should always be the authority for starting the fights. They should never be giving tactical orders to a pilot, a shooter, or a ship captain. This was the forte of Hitler as he authored one disaster after another.
Civilians who fancy themselves generals are a nightmare. This is like the police officer seeing an armed bank robbery in progress, and everyone insisting that the Mayor should be able to direct the cops aim with an earpiece and a live video feed.
Civilian control yes, civilian TACTICAL control, NO. FDR did not personally select the D-Day bombardment targets and beaches.
Has Obama located a shi’a replacement for him?
