NV: Week 1 Early Voting Turnout
NVSoS ^

Posted on 10/27/2012 12:07:02 PM PDT by sf4dubya

Week one early voting / Absentee in.

Look at Washoe. Obama doesn't nearly have the lead he did in 2008.

If Rasmussen is to be believed, subtract 5% from each of the Dem & GOP columns, then add 55% of the "other" column to GOP and 35% of the "other" column to the Dems.

Then add 101% to the D column to account for the extra ballots Harry Reid is storing in a false bottom compartment of his pick up truck.

Nevada used to be such a cool state before ravaging hordes of Californians poured over the Sierra Nevada like a flood of invading locusts to turn Nevada into California’s mini-me. It will only get worse as California fully and completely implodes.

That would break down to roughly a 15,500 vote lead for Obama (4.43%) as of today.

I wouldn’t believe Scott Rasmussen if he said the sun would come up tomorrow...

Yeah, I was hoping that his “traffic accident” would have resulted in two things:

1. Harry sustaining major injuries
2. The pre voted ballots he was carrying at the time be spread about the freeway.

So just who the eff do you think made Las Vegas what it has become, tooth fairies from Missouri? My wife grew up in Las Vegas in the late 1950’s( when there were about 20,000 inhabitants), and it was a fairly decent place to live. Now she doesn’t even want to go home for her HS reunions. As Stan Freeburg used to say “it’s the battle between the El Sodom Hotel and the Hotel Gommorah,” all being supported by the Los Angelenos! Las Vegas would cease to exist without the “financial support” from California.
As far as the Mini-me’s are concerned, they are all from Mexico and points south. No self-respecting Southern Californian would trade his weather for that of LV.

Big difference between tourists and people who move to the state. People who move here to make a new start for themselves is one thing. People who move here, to flee the burdens of the ultimate welfare state because property is cheap, then turn around and support the same kind of people for government office that want to create the environment that they fled in the first place is something different. They don’t seem to be able to make the connection that it was the same policies they are trying to force upon our state is what screwed theirs up in the first place.

My daughter called me today from Reno. She said there are Romney signs everywhere, and she’d only seen one Obama sign.

She is just visiting, so she hasn’t been everywhere. She said she even saw a van outside the Catholic Cathedral, IIRC, that had a huge Obama Sux banner on the side.

You can put me in the pot of ex-Californians who fled to Nevada in order to try NOT to have Nevada turn into California. :p

Sweet, welcome to the state, and if you ever want to go on a 4WD expedition to truly see what you are fighting for, let me know. (ps, show up with gin, makes those rickety old 1940’s mining roads going over those remote mountain ranges funny instead of scary).

Yeah, there are so many Romney signs in my neighborhood, people sometimes forget there is another candidate. ;)
