The White House on Saturday flatly denied that President Barack Obama withheld requests for help from the besieged American compound in Benghazi, Libya, as it came under on attack by suspected terrorists on September 11th.
"Neither the president nor anyone in the White House denied any requests for assistance in Benghazi," National Security Council spokesman Tommy Vietor told Yahoo News by email.

Who’s “The Bullshitter”? It is now a month and a half after the Bengazi attack on our Embassy and O’Bama is still wondering what “really happened”.

What crap. O’Bama’s 2:00 AM phone call came and he did not know what to do. He certainly did not respond properly. He should realize that deception and hubris does not cut it.
Biden made that claim, for sure, in the VP debate...
What real President or true leader would have needed to be asked for help? They were watching in real time... first response by a responsible President would be ... get them help NOW !!!! Get the Sec. of Defense moving the strike force assitance immediately whether or not a “formal” request was made or received. Obama was missing-in-action at a critical time of need. Imagine the Ambassador and Seals while under attack putting their faith in Obama and this administration...and realizing after hours of repelling the assault that help was not on the way!! How do you suspect they would vote on Nov. 6th? Don’t think for a moment that any President except Jimmie Carter and Obama would sit by and do nothing !! May both Carter and Obama share a position in the trash heap of the history of American’s worst Presidents!!
Well, notice how all these spokespeople always answer for him, rather than him answering, himself, despite his having multiple opportunities to do so. This allows him later, when the facts come out, to deny that he authorized anyone to make such a statement.
Any of his staff who doesn’t retain some kind of evidence as to what they may have been told to do is a complete idiot.

Remember all the flack George Bush got from the main stream media and the Democrats because ( in their own perverted twisted minds ) he was taking to long to respond because he wasn’t in Washington right away right after the 9/11/01 attacks in New York and the Pentagon ?

Four people dead, including the Amabassador and nobody knew about, did anything about it, but somehow they did't deny requested help.
At BEST Obama is an incompetent boob, at worst, complicit in a murder.

Saying there was "no denial of help" implies that there was a REQUEST made.
Was Obama just sitting there like a bump on a pickle WAITING to see if someone noticed him in the room?
3. Although he did not DENY, he did not GRANT.
Only the President, Commander in Chief, may authorize conducting an armed activity within the borders of a sovereign nation with which we are not (yet) at war. Refusal to respond to requests for aid, means the request is denied.
i’m actually surprised that Obama didn’t jump on this as his “october surprise” to show himself as the “heroic” commander in chief, rescuing americans etc...
i think they made a political decision to refuse a rescue attempt because they were worried about a “black hawk down” type ambush, and the resulting political downside
Panetta’s comment about not rushing into a situation without real time intelligence suggests this (BS though that excuse is)
Why Tommy Vietor and Why Yahoo?
He especially would not want people thinking about the implications for commercial air travelers, of there being thousands shoulder-fired missiles in the hands of jihadis, and that Obama's actions made that happen.
