the Muslim Brotherhood president of Egypt, Mohammed Morsi, was behind the attack.

We now know it was not initially an attack, but an attempted kidnapping of Ambassador Stevens to use him as a pawn to get their beloved Blind Sheik back.

What is most shocking, however, is that a source within the White House states that it was arranged as an October surprise by Barack Obama. Obama, in order to make the release of the Blind Sheik more palatable to the American people, and to boost his sagging approval ratings, arranged with the Muslim Brotherhood to kidnap Ambassador Stevens. Then, days before the election, acting the part of the hero, planned to release the Blind Sheik in exchange for Ambassador Stevens.

The plan was for security to be minimal at the consulate, protected by only Libyan security guards who would melt away into the night at the appointed time.

Tie all the pieces together. Protest in Cairo - and immediate apology from Embassy about "the video". According to this witness who was in Egypt on 9/11, protestors were calling for the release of the Blind Sheik. He also states that the WH was aware this was coming as early as August 25 because his group had informed the Embassy of an impending attack.

This does not fit the timeline given on the attack. Stevens was hold up in that safe room, attackers set fire to it, the two guards seem to have escaped leaving Stevens behind.

I thought it was long after that when Ty Woods made his brave attempt to rescue the Ambassador.

Now, it very well could have been a Kidnapping attempt, it just seems the stories are out of order. Am I wrong?

Anyway, I can see where that "STAND DOWN" order would have been given, if this was only to be a kidnapping attempt.

No, we don't know that. While I was one of many who earlier suggested it as a possibility, it was mere speculation. I think sheer pinko utopian Anti-American pro-terrorist stupidity on the part of our officials is more likely. I think they are like the leftist revolutionaries who were going to take over Iran after booting out the shah, and once again they got outsmarted by their allies the islamists.

Clinton pulled the stand down crap aeveral times with the special forces in his time- when they had Imad Mugnoyah trapped on board a ship and also when they had a red laser on aidid's head in Somalia, and also when they had a chance to nail OBL. It didn't require a kidnapping plot or an arms plot in any of those cases, it just required a lazy administration looking for the politically safest, least risky route to election day.

It may be that there is something else besides irresponsibility going on here but as of yet there is nothing conclusive, and the speculation, being spread about as if it is fact, clouds the waters unneccessarily.

With all the speculation and info that is coming out, we are not the only ones theorizing about this, it helps. One person sees one thing, another sees another bit, and pretty soon some things are just gelled together and makes sense.

Yet there is Factual information already out there, that is not speculation, that is being discussed by FOX news, Col Hunt, Pat Cadell, etc.,etc.,etc. . We on FR are only theorizing, don't hurt, could help.

Besides all that, what we are doing FR is keeping this issue ALIVE, so those 4 men would not have died in VAIN.
