I was just about to head to bed. How bad is this expected to be? In other words should I get up and put CNN on or what? I hope it’s not bad and they’re just being cautious...

Live blogging on CNN pretty up to date. Several dear friends in Hawaii for a conference are in hotels and keeping in touch on Facebook. Apparently there are no deep ocean markers to predict the size of the surge, how bad is anybody’s guess at this point.

They’re probably thinking “eight feet, no big deal.”
Not a normal wave, though. It just keeps coming, like sea level rose that much, for a fairly lengthy period of time compared to a normal wave.
They might end up regretting their sightseeing.

You don’t find it interesting that the places that are getting hit are Democratic strongholds? I do. G-d is still the ruler of this world and all that it contains.

People have been protected from many consequences of stupidity for going on two or even three generations now. If they’re culled it’ll just get humanity back a little closer to the mean.
To: Hunterb
No, I mean warnings that generally give people an opportunity to make a choice. Make the right choice, the warnings pass, make the wrong choice and destruction follows.
