People have been protected from many consequences of stupidity for going on two or even three generations now. If they’re culled it’ll just get humanity back a little closer to the mean.

No, I mean warnings that generally give people an opportunity to make a choice. Make the right choice, the warnings pass, make the wrong choice and destruction follows.

Seriously? Am I reading that wrong?

30 meter differential? That’s more than 90 feet!

Is this a yacht basin, trying to envision how much retraction. Five, six feet in depth?

I’m in Hilo, Waiakea Uka. Where are you? Where are those boats you mentioned?

This is a triggering event recently receiving for this Buoy off of Kona and the west side. (If I am reading this properly, we're looking at +/- 25m waves or about a 150ft differential.)

Looks like 180ft differentials once an hour for the last few hours.

That may be, but they didn’t describe the location at all. Not really the best report.

I believe one reporter said the tide was building. Another now says the tide is out.

Hmmm...
