Obama National Field Director Jeremy Bird released a memo on Thursday designed to calm nervous Democrats by advancing the Obama campaign's meme that it is dominating early voting in the battleground state of Ohio. But as former Republican National Committee strategist Adrian Gray points out, the Obama campaign's Ohio narrative is bogus.
"When things are ugly for a campaign, these types of memos can start flying," writes Mr. Gray. "It is troubling for the presidents supporters that they could not come up with at least a handful of positive data points in Ohio."

This, along with our own FR Exclusive Analysts, Ravi and LS, Adrian Gray on Twitter and many others, is a part of the same series of excellent analysis of the OH early vote situation
Each FReeper’s report shows us a small sliver, but if enough of such reports emerges, we can get a better picture.
Are these votes being enumerated?
I don’t know how it works out there. Are votes actually being counted, or are these ethno-geographic projections?
what they ought to be doing in emphasizing participation in a legal transference of power, that if they lose they do so graciously
“Finally, the Obama campaign brags that a Time poll has Mr. Obama up 60-30 among early voters. There’s just one problem, says Mr. Gray: “That sub-sample was asked of 145 people and was one of many of similar ilk (with a huge variation in results). Their central data argument is that 43 more people told Times pollster over a two-day window they supported Obama. If that is their best claim to a lead in Ohio, it is a troubling picture for the president.”
I read this poll info and the 60-30 comment concerned me. This comment makes me feel better.
Just a reminder to all of those Ohio union construction men that have been put out of work by Obama.

I vote on election day like our founders intended.
I personally know several drug sodden slackers who only vote because its become easy. If they had to get up on a certain day and go stand in line with real Americans, they wouldn’t bother.
Early voting ranks right up there with the 17th amendment in the amount of damage it does.
All my estimates, and those of everyone else, assume a 50/50 split among the "Unaffiliateds." Except almost every poll has Romney winning between 10 and 20+ percent of Indies, so, in all likelihood, early voting stats are skewed to Dems by 3-4 points.
Gray told me that they cherry picked the area too, and I took that to mean they only went to a D-heavy precinct or two, not all of a county.

Hey Rove, how is Atkins doing in Missouri?
