Priebus (to Candy Crowley): It's Benghazi and the economy, not Mourdock
The Washington Times ^ | October 28, 2012 | David Eldridge

Posted on 10/28/2012 7:18:47 AM PDT by maggief

EXCERPT

"There are two things out there people are talking about: They're talking about the economy, and they're talking about what happened in Benghazi," he told host Candy Crowley.

"Why, after a cry for help to Leon Panetta and after the president gave a directive to protect — he claims he gave a directive to protect those people, Panetta ... now claims that he didn't, he told the personnel to stand down," he said. "So either the president didn't give the directive or the president isn't being truthful or perhaps Leon Panetta acted as commander-in-chief. This is the subject right now that people are talking about, and the economy. Not Richard Mourdock."

Go Reince! This is what needs to be said each and every time a Republican is on TV. If they're not going to cover it - you get it out in spite of them.

A question on birth control? Talk Benghazi. Unemployment down? Who ordered the STAND DOWN.

Exactly. Total soviet strategy of ignoring it.

Fortunately we have the Internet and Fox. MSM becoming irrelevant and this shows why.

The MSM is simply afraid to go against Obama on any significant point. They put party loyalty over what is right for the country. The MSM is the Democrat Party at work day after day.

Odd that Druge has gone silent on us!

Reince Priebus continues to exceed expectations.

Only for those who aren't from Wisconsin.

Perhaps the most fortunate political loss ever was when he narrowly lost his bid for the WI State Senate. Had he won, he'd be representing Kenosha very well, but Tom Barrett would likely be Governor of Wisconsin and there would be a big hole in national leadership right when it was most needed.

Why isn’t Fox News Sunday covering Libya? I don’t need to hear the latest talking points from either side. It’s all old news.

Who wants to buy what Candy Crowley is selling? These are snake oil salesmen. They are selling something few people want to buy. Only a low information voter would buy what the MSM sells.

Both Sens. Mark Warner, D-Va., Mark Udall, D-Colo, refused to answer if drones were armed.

My hunch is if they were unarmed Dems would be shouting from the rooftops.

Has anyone said what type of drone it was? If it was an
MQ-1 or MQ-9, it most assuredly was armed.

I haven’t seen any drone id’s.

Did Brennan make the call?

http://www.washingtonpost.com/world/national-security/cia-veteran-john-brennan-has-transformed-us-counterterrorism-policy/2012/10/24/318b8eec-1c7c-11e2-ad90-ba5920e56eb3_story.html

What was once a disparate collection of tactics — drone strikes by the CIA and the military, overhead surveillance, deployment of small Special Forces ground units at far-flung bases, and distribution of military and economic aid to threatened governments — has become a White House-centered strategy with Brennan at its core.

Four years ago, Brennan felt compelled to withdraw from consideration as President Obama’s first CIA director because of what he regarded as unfair criticism of his role in counterterrorism practices as an intelligence official during the George W. Bush administration. Instead, he stepped into a job in the Obama administration with greater responsibility and influence.

Reince Priebus continues to exceed expectations.

As he continues to concede MO and perhaps the Senate to the Dems? Such foolishness.

Send some money to Akins, Reince, before it's too late. Swallow that pride and help us win the Senate.
